Looks like they only made it to 16,000 feet. Would have been much worse at cruising altitude. Can’t imagine how much that sucked for the passengers near the hole. 475mph next to an opening like that had to be terrifying.
From the ADS-B data it was 5:07-5:26 takeoff to touchdown. The 50 minutes may be the rough gate to gate time?
Usually 1C but maybe I'll start doing 1B so that there's less of a line of sight for me to get sucked out of the plane. Haha just kidding but not really
I kept getting recommended videos breaking down what happened in this crash a few weeks ago. I had no idea who she was
I wasn't aware of her channel until she passed but man watching some of her other videos makes pretty apparent that she was in way over her head. Also the NTSB report said they recovered "intact video recording equipment" so her GoPros almost assuredly recorded the entirety of the events leading up to and including the crash
Man, watching that was stressful. It’s surprising she ever got her license in the first place. She was making so many beginner mistakes. And then her dad was going to start messing with the fuse box mid flight, ffs. I’m surprised she posted that video, and that no one tried to intervene with her flying solo after watching it.
