Given the amount of time it takes (not a lot) I find it worth it. I also just think it’s kinda fun as a quick little mini puzzle.
I actually wondered if there's a prize or way to know you got all of them. I'm all but done with the game and I haven't seen one in forever.
Question about the lore of BOTW and TOTK. Spoilered everything to not ruin for others. Spoiler: Lore? Am I forgetting references to the Triforce in BOTW? Not really seeing any in TOTK either. I have finished all four temples, retrieved the master sword, and unlocked all the memories. I am not looking to get spoiled on what happens next story wise. But is the Triforce at least a part of this series? Seems to be noticeably absent even in the lore/history. Perhaps I’m overlooking things though.
It's not as prominently featured as in past games, but Zelda uses it at the end of BOTW. It isn't seen in TOTK, per se, but it's on clothing, etc
Finally broke down and beat TOTK last night. I’d been sitting at entire completion besides some side quests for a couple of months. Enjoyed the Demon King fight but ruined it a bit but traversing the depths under the castle and killing all the mobs that would have impeded the journey to him. I would not have guessed they don't respawn. As usual, actual final fight wasn't particularly difficult once you've got 30 hearts and a million food items.
Same. I had been holding off beating the main story line. I really wanted to organically find everything before beating, b/c I knew once I did, I wouldn’t come back for a while, and I love dicking around and exploring the game too much. I beat it over the weekend, and haven’t even booted up the Switch since then.
“Ok I’m going to go back to the main story now so let me just———WAIT I SEE A SHRINE” This goes on for several weeks.
I'm not expecting too many more AAA titles until the next system is announced. Going to be a bunch of smaller projects from the B-teams. Maybe one more big release, but even that will probably end up cross-released with the next system.
so I may be the only one that hasnt completed zelda yet, but a took a month or so off of it because I was annoyed and came back to it and did nothing but beef up link for a week and everything has been pretty easy since then. might put off the last battle for a little bit to putz around on some side missions. has been the most fun Ive had with a video game in a long while.
Lots of fucking around left to do here. Main map is pretty filled in but have only been in depths a few times and haven't messed with sky at all. Recovered from the device bricking incident so that's good.
What's the cliffs on the Mario game that comes out next month. It's a pretty big one right? All new, not a reboot/port?
Side scroller, not 3D. Will have tons of unique gameplay and cool cartoon visuals. I will likely have it day one.
You know you’ve been just dicking around a lot in Zelda when you compete the Tears of the Dragon quest without noticing. I just was going around and whenever I just happen upon one of the graphic things I’d go check it out. I figured I had several more but turns out I found them all.
forgot which day it was out this week and got excited when I saw it on my switch yesterday. I was the literal version of the eli manning gif
Saw that Wonder leaked early but I'm out of town so I'll get it and start playing it this weekend when it comes out officially.
there are sites, assuming you have a cracked/hacked switch. Spoiler nsw2u would be a series of random characters I would search for online...
Played the first world last night. Ton of fun. Reminded me of a successor to Mario World more than the NEW Mario Bros games, which is fine by me.
I like the Mario 3esque elements like the Toad houses and minigames between levels. Am I gonna have to get the top of every flagpole with every character to 100% this?
Also, it's hard to decide what badge to use on what level. Asking the prince is usually worthless, he always wants to recommend the extra coin badge
I keep the floating hat on as my default, but switch to dolphin kick for water levels, and maybe the high jump for others
Been 3 years since I last played a video game because I couldn't find (or afford) a PS5 anywhere for a long time Kinda want to get a Switch to play Mario Kart, Zelda, etc
