Finally watched this. So good. I haven't seen the original in a while, but this felt about as scary as I remember that one being. I need to go back and rewatch to confirm.
Also finally watched Pearl today. While not scary, I found it entertaining and enjoyed Goth's performance. Looking forward to MaXXXine whenever it comes out.
Horror in the High Desert 3 will be titled "Firewatch" The description of it thus far is just "Firewatch chronicles the people who set out to find the cabin seen in Gary's final video."

New lady friend is not a horror person, at all, and she certainly isn't mainlining Shudder like I am. Any reccs on something to introduce her? I keep thinking of something like the Final Girls but I'm not sure if it would be lost on a novice.
Tucker and Dale is my favorite so I considered it but I worry a bit about gore.. that may be the route I go. Happy Death Day may be a winner as well, hadn't thought of it.
