Or this one for over $220 https://www.officersonly.com/produc...muxKvZEaDnV7KzcgLZxS6_ZvvOwQOERPUbhoCrL7w_wcB
drove to Austin to pick up a suppressor I ordered 11 months ago and on my way back I stopped at a Gander Mountain that was going out of business. Walked out with a Browning Silver Infinity 26" that has been discontinued for $650 which is a great deal. But the real gem was a Citori o/u 725 Field 28" for $1250 http://www.browning.com/products/fi...inued/silver-mossy-oak-break-up-infinity.html http://www.browning.com/products/fi...tgun/current-production/citori-725-field.html
They have had some really good ones lately. I am kinda glad I don't live closer to them, It helps hold me back from pulling the trigger on every good deal on their site.
I went to website about an hour after walking out with mine today and saw they dropped the price. I called the store and they said they couldn't match the price. I was pissed
Added a Ruger 10/22 today... just trying to decide if I should just go shoot it or break it down and sell off the stock, barrel, and trigger group because why not?
The correct number of firearms you should own is n+1. Sometimes you have to obey this rule twice in one day. Spoiler: 11 a.m. Couldn't pass up the 25rd magazine. Otherwise, it's a bone stock carbine model 10/22. I'm fairly certain I'm fuckig with it before I ever shoot it. Probably grabbing Hogue stock, some kind of bull barrel, and scope and selling the OEM pieces. I haven't shot a rifle since I was a boy scout. BartScott.gif Spoiler: 5 p.m. Springfield is running a crazy promotion through the end of the month: Four extra magazines Holster Magazine holster Range bag Additionally, Adventure outdoor was doing 10% off all new Springfields, so... this is not my fault. Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer in stainless steel. Target sights are going to take some getting used to, but this gun is bae.
I ordered that shield for $200.....I'm also planning on getting a Springfield at AO. Let's go shoot, BrickTamland
Thanks for reminding me. I'm planning on that as well as the nylon recoil buffer from Volquartsen (apparently it's much quieter and better long term for the receiver/bolt wear?) I'll probably do something trigger related down the line but not right from the start.
I got the nylon buffer I like it a bunch. First thing I'd grab is the extended mag release. Fuck the stock release.
Eh, that's tough, we're in a hotel tonight bc the house was painted and I have work dinner tomorrow night. Can likely do Friday or next week once I pick up the new 9mm. Stoddard's is at Atlantic Station, right?
Yup. Place is really nice inside and out, and priced accordingly. Tried to shoot there Sunday and there was a 2hr wait. (But I got some free range time out of it so...) Also, you can shoot my 9mm shield if yours isn't in. It's still bone stock as I spent my trigger budget on a child's rifle.
works for me, I want to break in my new AR. Let me know if Friday or a day next week works. I'm working from home now so pretty flexible moving forward.
There is an early Colt Govt 380 at a shop near me. Its got a custom wood grip and novak sights, I might have to scoop it up this weekend.
My dad used to have a M1911 not A1 (i.e. manufactured 1911-1929) that he got as bartered payment when he first started in private practice. He then traded it for a new engine for his Austin Healey (which he ended up selling not long after). I often wonder what the current value of that legal fee is with appreciation...
Having owned nothing other than polymer semiauto handguns, disassembling and cleaning the 1911 was... different.
So I think I found my favorite under the seat lock box... Hornady 3 point locking Steel shackle so I can put a thick ass bike lock on it instead of the other brands that have a skinny wire with small insert/loop that goes in the box. Can fit my G19 with x300 in a Bravo concealment kydex holster. With the seat back (Jeep), a little of the bike lock wire shows, I just put a bag of shit down to hide it, but the box is completely concealed and Jeep's have a lot of bullshit underneath the front seats so other cars you might have more room to tuck it away. Looking through passenger side rear window, can't see shit. I have 2-3 others and this is by far the sturdiest, most well thought out design, etc.
Cheap scope versus cheap red dot optic for the 10/22, what should I do? $30 red dot Bushnell Trophy Red Dot TRS-25 $30 scope Simmons .22 Mag TruPlex Reticle Rimfire Riflescope with Rings
Going to enjoy the cheap scope, I'm not breaching doors and engaging in close quarter combat. Thanks!
That's the mode I was trying to grab, but they were sold out. RO is probably better anyway as this is purely a range gun (not that anyone would carry a 5" 7rd capacity gun that weighs 4lbs...)
I want stainless & my local shop only has the RO parkerized, otherwise I'd have a decision to make. Should run me $799. What did you pay?
$810 for the SS range officer ($900 then a 10% special sale they were running on top of the "gear up")
I've got a modded out saiga 12 I want to sell. Professionally done by tac47. Where is the best place to sell it online? Armslist?
