For the money they aren't bad. I've never owned more than one though. They are series 70 so they have that going for them. You might look into ATI as well.
So I bought the Daniel Defense AR15 a couple months ago. Is there a trigger upgrade that any of you recommend for an AR or rifles in general? It just feels more "stiff" than others I've shot over the years.
Nothing Edit - I prefer a skeletonized hammer and trigger as well as a beaver tail grip safety, but it's definitely a great nod to the original
I just figured out how to get pictures from my phone to the internets so here's a few more. I know I'm old. Colt LE 6920
Yep, have 2 of those and they are the best, I got the SSA Enhanced model and the second stage was too light for my liking. I like a little more resistance. Either way you can't go wrong and you'll be amazed how much it will help your accuracy.
Entering a room with an armed gunman or someone with an IED, might have one shot. I'd rather know I'm blowing his head off with buckshot than risk a thru and thru that doesn't end it with an AR.
I've gone down a bad rabbit hole: watching world class 1911 shooters hit quarter groupings of 6rds, reload, then 6rds in under 4sec.
Well fuck. Back to the drawing board. They show for me. But guess it has something to do with them being from my google images.
Had a 9am shoot today, took the Coonan, Marauder, Baer Stinger and CZ TacSpor. My groups at 25 yards weren't up to par but then again I should be asleep at 9am on a fucking Sunday.
Note to self: When breaking into tot's house, do it before 9am, on a sunday, whilst staying 26 yds away from his person
If you're in the market for a 308 AR, palmetto has one for half off http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-...l&utm_campaign=Weekend+Deals+are+About+to+End
Wow, many many unfavorable reviews of that gun regarding the bolt assembly, rounds not going into full battery, and general malfunctions :l
No more dealing with u-notch sights on anything, just ordered that fancy $300 site tool and a bunch of slide shoes for it.
Of all the aftermarket 10/22 parts available, what component really identifies that firearm? Like, what could I not buy off of eBay to build up a complete one? Barrels, complete trigger groups, stocks, receivers... it seems as though you can Frankenstein one from scratch.
