Im not arguing anything. I said I think Glennon is good. I had a couple of discussions with some people and you and another poster wanted to get upset about it. It's a fucking message board if you can't accept a couple of posts discussions where people might have differing opinions than yours this probably isn't the place for you.
Again, another post where there's literally no substance or really any opinion that you disagree with... Like Jesus christ I'm trying to talk bucs football in here and you want to ruin it
Guys Relax We are winning the Super Bowl because of Jungle Boi reasons. And Jameis But mostly Jungle Boi
Glennon is one of the better backup options in the league and is good enough to start for a number of teams that have no clear QB options and turn in an average year. He was definitely a better option than McClown. But I don't think he's good enough to be a difference maker for a team at the position and make everyone around him better. His ceiling is Brad Johnson during his good years. Game manager capable of a big game here and there.
Coley Harvey @ColeyHarvey 8m8 minutes ago Dre Kirkpatrick said noticed where Jameis was looking down his WRs in the opener at Minnesota. Didn't do that vs. #Bengals, per Dre.
Bucs want Winston to do a better job of avoiding hits The Bucs need to do a better job of blocking for quarterback Jameis Winston. But he also has to learn to protect himself. Winston suffered a sprained right ankle in Monday night’s 25-11 preseason win over the Bengals when he tripped over the feet of center Jeremiah Warren and was sandwiched between Bengals defensive linemen Geno Atkins and Wallace Gilberry. The injury was not serious and he is expected to start Saturday against the Browns. While that hit may have been unavoidable, there have been others he may have contributed to. Winston also has scored two rushing touchdowns, diving for the pylon or the goal line in each instance. In the first preseason game at Minnesota, he took a blow to head when he failed to slide properly. “That’s something I’ve got to learn quickly,’’ Winston said. “It’s going to take some time for me to adjust. But I know I’ve got to protect my body and I’ve got to protect this team by staying injury-free. Bucs offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter says the Bucs are working with Winston to make better decisions to preserve his health. "Know when the journey is over? That’s too far over my head,’’ Koetter said. “I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and when I was old enough, I just to drive to Jackpot, Nevada, to play blackjack, so I say, "know when to cut your losses.' “Jameis is such a competitor, he has a hard time cutting his losses. He doesn’t ever want to cut his losses. That’s good and bad. That’s well documented. He’s going to make some plays, and we’re going to love him, and there’s going to be some other times we’re going to say, “Get down! Get down!’ That’s how it’s going to be, so get used to it. We’re working on it, but get used to it.’’ Winston admits he knows the Bucs have too much invested in him as the No. 1 overall pick and franchise quarterback to expose himself to more injury than necessary. “I got to learn that, because I love to compete, I love to be competitive,’’ Winston said. “But at the end of the day, it’s like coach Koetter says, you’ve got to know just when to leave it alone. And I’m young right now and I love the action. You know, as quarterbacks, we don’t get hit at practice so I want to go in there in the preseason and get it out of the way.’’
Holy shit you guys get this dog shit on a regular basis? Wow, as if dealing with the team isn't enough
Yep. Unless Koetter mixes in a heavy dose of screens, draws, and rollouts, Jameis won't last past the bye.
it's kind of amusing to see how much space Jameis takes up in boom's head, when it's quite clear there's low availability there. One dude caused someone to turn in their fan card; that's the kind of power you can't buy.
He's gonna be the homerun of the draft, imo. I really like that the defense is gradually acquiring young talent
Watching Kwon's college film now, he sucked at LSU in terms of making reads and reacting. Kudos to the Bucs' coaching staff for getting him to play like an actual LB
They said during the draft that they thought he was playing out of position, rather than being given too much to digest from Chavis.
Maybe, I didn't pay much attention to the analyses of the pick. Watching this video wasn't impressive at all. He looked lost, but if he was in fact playing out of position, that could definitely explain why.
i feel bad for doug martin. he looks to be fully healthy but behind that oline he will get hurt again
Agreed. I always wonder when you get combine numbers that don't add up to success, at least at the big programs. Obviously some guys are combine warriors, but the disparity between his film and the measurables was pretty glaring. Speaks to the staff doing their homework when they got him in for pre-draft workouts.
im trying to think of professional units ive seen quite as bad as tampa's o-line this year. Jets Qbs for the last 5 years. Expansion season texans o-line expansion season carolina QBs washington's ownership I havent been following the nfl seriously enough to go back any farther or with anymore accuracy.

Yes solely because our usual luck with coin flips and shit that lands us a 7-11 pick won't get us Bosa or a starting LT
