meh, not a big fan of deus ex machina making a huge impact on the plot. I’m happy the show isn’t going to do that.
I forgot to ask this at the time. Am I missing something on why SB decided to go scorched earth on HL? Like I know he’s a big dumb jock who has accidentally hurt innocent people before by doing dumb shit and has intentionally hurt people in a fit of rage… but it didn’t seem to fit in that there. HL was being completely humble in that situation. Why did SB want to kill him so bad? With Ryan okay whatever he was mad at the eye laser and decided fuck the kid too bc he was pissed and in kill mode, but the decision to kill HL was weird to me…up until that point all his kills were because of, or in the wake of, his rage for being back stabbed in the past, and HL wasn’t involved in that. Not at all saying SB is above killing people just bc he’s pissed, just don’t really get why he was so pissed. I actually didn’t watch the prior episode, did i miss something there that set this severe reaction to HL’s “weakness” up?

Banshee has a perfect formula for a TV show. A ridiculous plot, an Amish mafia, the Russian mafia, and a Native American mafia, with one hot lady getting naked and one incredible fight scene every episode.

And I know that a sadistic, dark comic book super hero comedy with people actually having sex and showing boobs and dying and being openly shitty would otherwise be the pinnacle of entertainment for alt-right socially inept chuds, so that the show openly expresses they are the lowest common denominator of the American shit pit, and it took these galaxy brained do your own researchers this long to figure it out is just so fucking delicious.
Just binged the entire 3 seasons in about a week. Season 3 was the best but I couldn’t get over the actress that played Starlight looking completely different. She looked way worse with whatever work she got done.

The Deep annoys the fuck out of me, so I will not watch that. I do get that that is the whole point of his character though.
That's how god damn tedious his character felt in a lot of his scenes I chuckled at the dolphin thing, but most of the rest I didn't need at all. I hated a lot of a train's shit too tbh.

Do you like Homelander? If you fast-forward through all Deep scenes in season 3 you miss a fucking lot of good Homelander content. I could see that if you hate him you'd ffw through his season 2 church cult stuff. It's solely carried by the Deep and has no content from other big characters. But continuing to do so when he's involved in a lot of scenes with the other main characters this season... just doing a disservice to yourself and missing good scenes with other characters that you presumably enjoy? Idk maybe you hate everyone on the show

Yea this is pretty close to it. No, I didn't purposely jam ffwd when he was interacting with homelander 100% of the time - but I did pretty much as soon as I felt like I got the thrust of what story the exchange was trying to tell. Their dynamic is pretty easily understood and I wasn't generally feeling a need to see (deep) be so pliable and easily manipulated while trying to please that psychopath.
