Very excited to see where this goes. There’s only one left right? I’m hoping/assuming there’s going to be an obi wan teaser attached to the last one
I was really hoping the 2nd option Luke would give him was that ball from the Razor Crest. Grogu would of left that Beskar in heart beat.
Finally started this yesterday and caught up this afternoon. First 3-4 episodes were alright (didn't like episode 3 really), but the last two have been phenomenal. I don't know much about Star Wars canon so wasn't really familiar with the dude who took down Olyphant in the duel. He was a badass though and I am excited for the finale.
During the episode 6 opening scene, was it just spice in the chest or was there more to it than that? “This is worth more than your whole town.”
I think it was just spice. Speaking of spice, I know Star Wars took a lot of inspiration from Dune, but was spice trade ever mentioned in any other medium besides this show? Seems like after the Dune movie released recently, having the sand worm in the last season of The Mandalorian and the spice trade storyline in The Book of Boba Fett, seems like a blatant rip off.
I guess Mos Pelgo is kind of a shit hole so a chest full of spice probably is worth more than the town.
It's funny how similar they even look. I realize this episode was probably shot long before Dune even came out but still.
I've never watched either, although I should. Reading up a little bit I completely forgot about everything in the Solo movie.
Anyone got that guide to watching just the essential episodes of Clone Wars? Thinking about doing a rewatch but definitely not watching any jar jar nonsense.
The last two episodes were Mandolorian 2.5. Kinda funny Bobba wasn’t even in episode 5 and only 15 seconds of 6.
The only time my kid got excited during the Rey Skywalker abortion of a movie was when someone said “Lando” because he was for sure they said “Mando” and that it’d start getting good. There was a similar conversation during episode 5.
Solid finale. Hopefully mando rides off into his own series again and they let the characters they introduced grow.
My likely unpopular opinion Spoiler Painfully average finale. Would've been a step better had it been shot during night time Tatooine. Lots of awkward shots, angles and cuts. Stormtrooper aim was absurdly disappointing. Everything about the teenage robots sucks. 60% of the episode was spent firing at or running away from droids. If dead, Cad felt like a waste of a character. And Grogu reunion felt anticlimactic. Robert Rodriguez strikes again unfortunately.
Thought it was alright. Could have been epic. Some cool boba/mando fight scenes Cheered anytime one of the vespas people got shot Spoiler: Mid credit scene what was happening?
Spoiler Cobb Vanth was getting outfitted with droid parts to keep him alive. Same guy who fixed Fennec
Meh finale. Also dont like Grogu choosing Mando. The fact they reunited so quickly undos the weight of Luke taking him in the S02 Mando finale
I sat through Attack of the Clones and Rise of Skywalker. I’m not complaining about this. It was fine to me.
I was hoping that's who was in the tank when Boba said it was in use. Something along the lines of he wanted to prove he wasn't a murderer anymore. And then we would get more live action Cad Bane shenanigans down the road.
Finale was ok but overall boba was still better than a lot of other Star Wars content, so I’ll take it
Also, why keep shooting at the scorpion droids when you know it doesn’t affect their shields. Wouldn’t you want to save your amm…nvm.
It was alright but far from great. In the Star Wars galaxy are shields like the giant droid ones destroyable a la Dune? I didn’t get why they kept repeatedly shooting at them for like 10 minutes. But then I guess they did get destroyed so I assume the answer to my question is yes.
