Yeah that’s one of the things I like most about Dayvigo. It puts me to sleep but I wake up and no grogginess at all.
I actually have an appointment with a sleep specialist tomorrow. I took an at-home sleep test earlier this year and it came back negative for OSA. This past August I had my yearly doctors appointment and he recommended I do an in-lab test since I do snore and we want to make sure I keep my blood pressure in check because of my kidney.
You should talk to your doctor about it. i did that and she send me to a specialist(ent) he saw that my right nostril is obstructed a lot so he first prescribed me with a cortisone nasal spray. That helped a little but not enough so i will go under the knife at some point(probably 6 years from now since our system is also pretty shitty) to enlarge that right nostril. I really can’t wait. I wake up my gf way too much and almost always sleep in the guest room now. I don’t have sleep apnea but I snore almost all night, the air is not getting through easily. Hope that can help. https://www.snorelab.com/do-nasal-sprays-work-for-snoring/
I went years waking up every night at between 2-3. Tried everything...otc, prescription meds, dietary stuff like the tart cherry concentrate, etc. Only one thing has worked - sleeping in my own room. Took a 2nd kid and alternating monitor duty to realize it and now I'm not sure I'll ever go back.
Snoring in a lot of cases is a sign there could be some sleep apnea. It might be worth talking to a Dr to see if they recommend a sleep study.
It was actually today. Results said my oxygen sat was dropping into the high 70’s when I slept and that I had a moderate amount of times I stopped breathing. So I’m now team C-PAP baby
