Yes. Did nothing for me. Fall asleep easy but can't stay asleep?

I have insomnia and excessive daytime sleepiness.

No problem getting to sleep. Typically I can stay asleep for 20 minutes and I'm back awake. Usually aware that I'm waking up etc.

Hell for my sleep latency test, I fell asleep all 5 times within 2 minutes. Doctor was impressed.

Anyways I've been on all the heavy hitters, ambien helped but I finally found seroquel.

Dosage starts at 50. I'm at 200 but 50 definitely helped when I started.

Ask about it. Drawbacks are it makes you hungry and can be drowsy in the morning.

I just took a 2 hour nap and had a sleep walking episode...felt every inch of the hotel walls looking for a door handle.

Beginning to wonder if this is my issue. I can't stay asleep for longer than 2-3 hours anymore. I go to bed at 1-2am and wake up for good at 5-6am depending on how I feel after waking up a couple times during that period... even on weekends. I've wondered if concussions have played a role in that. Had my 5th one about a year ago and my sleep issues have been pretty bad since then

7 here and I'm convinced after the second everything changed.

    Easy to fall asleep

    Can't stay asleep

Takes forever to get back asleep if I'm lucky

3 or 4 hours of sleep if I'm lucky

I wake up every night somewhere between 2:30 and 3:30. If I get up and move to a different bedroom immediately, I can usually fall back asleep pretty fast. If I fuck around for even 10 minutes in moving, game over

Would you expect anything different from me?
That's how it used to be. Or basically anytime I'm off my seroquel.

I haven't had a sound night of sleep for years without my prescriptions.

I take some generic OTC thing that helps me sleep, but I still wake up sometimes at night; probably because my bedroom heats up.

I took doxepin for awhile when I would wake around 3 and couldn’t fall back asleep. Worked really well

Been on 3mg of doxepin since Monday. Been sleeping through the night, but groggy as hell the next day. I just realized that I read the dropper wrong and have been taking 30mg

Pill, but the sweet spot for me was like 12mg which doesn’t exist so I would literally open the 20mg capsule and dump some out. Not very scientific

Silenor was released as a low dose of doxepin, but most insurance companies don't cover it. I am trying to back into a good dosage through a dropper. Greedy ass pharmas.

Have been waking up multiple times a night to pee for probably 8-10 years now. Probably 2-3 times a night. If I wake up I can’t go back to sleep unless I get up and pee. Have a tightness in my chest I feel like is some kind of anxiety.

Usually fall asleep easily around 10-1030. Wake up at 12, 2 and 5ish before getting up at 6. Doesn’t matter day or weekend, it’s all the same.

Don’t really feel fatigued during the day. Don’t drink alcohol, don’t drink after 730-8.

I took some NyQuil for a week to help with a cough a while back and slept perfectly through the night. That made me decide to see sleep medicine, feel like I need to figure this out. Have a sleep study set up in 1 week. Kind of excited to see what it shows.

If you are waking up three times a night to pee, you should probably go see a doctor.

Frequent urination at night can be a sign of obstructive sleep apnea, which is why I got set up with a sleep study. It’s more of a feeling than triggered by actual volume. Something with diaphragm exerting negative pressure on the bladder.

I don’t snore but I have difficulty breathing out of one side of my nose. I suspect that is where the issue is.

Doxeoin is still great if you wake up frequently too early in the morning. But damn I have to be careful with the dose or I get so groggy I can barely even work until after 12pm

My sleep has been total dogshit the last few weeks. I wake up as if I never just slept for 8 hours, I have no energy during the day, no strength/stamina during my workouts. I also feel like it's affecting my hearing, vision, and mental functions. It's hard for me to focus and recall things because I'm just so fucking tired

So I’m finally getting put on ambien to see if that will help with my insomnia. They’re making me do an in home sleep study as well. I’m on day 3 of no sleep. I went almost 5 days before this and basically blacked out for a few hours before waking up and being on another stretch. I don’t think I’ve slept more than a 4 hour stretch in the past month so hopefully the new meds help. I’ve been taking 2 Xanax, an Ativan, 2 trazadone, Benadryl and melatonin and it still won’t knock me out.
