S2 has been ehhhh, I liked that S1 was mainly grounded

 

Yes, it's not as good for me so far. The humor is a little more forced and stiff and the plot is pretty much a derivative retread of Shooter Season 2/3, which wasn't great either.

 

I’m enjoying it a lot. There’s still a lot of season left

 

To get into the symphony or concert or whatever that was.

 

Motorcycle Gang fight was awesome

 

I really just enjoy this for it is. Kinda reminds me of peacemaker as well. Which I enjoyed the hell out of

 

yes, and same villain. Peacemaker was definitely better than this season so far though.

 

agree 100%, show is at its best when Reacher is beating the shit out of bullies and sticking up for the little guy. Taking down a giant national defense conspiracy with a couple of army buddies is a bit much

 

yeah this season has been fucking terrible. It’s like a parody of a Michael Bay script and I’m not sure I can remember a show that fell off so dramatically so quickly.

 

Just restarted Season 1 before diving too much into Season 2. Forgot how good Season 1 was/is.

 

Season 2 is fun, but season 1 was better ...

 

It's never going to be "good". You have to watch it purely for the action and the cheesy dialogue.

 

I keep hoping this season will turn a corner, but this show is a shell of what made it great last season. The script is boring, the dialog is not as funny, and the relationships are much weaker than last season. I am struggling to get through each episode.

 

all true, much more cookie cutter to the point where who dies can be easily predicted based on closeness to the end of the season. Not nearly as good as season 1 ...

 

Welp didn’t get better. Disappointing. Also the idea that they walked off with 65M and killed a ton of people and nobody looked into any of it was just absurd.

 

While I agree it wasn’t as good as S1, I think people are being a little harsh on it.

 

I just needed Reacher kicking ass and not some crackpot, quick quip team

 

I think I may be going easy on it. The script and plot was pure garbage.

 

I enjoyed it but am easy to entertain and willing to look over plot holes

 

this was one of the worst seasons of TV in recent memory and a total departure from what made season 1 enjoyable

 

It’s not as good as S1 similar to Jack Ryan. Let’s hope S3 returns to more mystique and less cookie cutter action. I still enjoyed it because I enjoy the character.

 

Didnt realize there was a thread. This season had elements of like random 80's movie to me. So many times my wife and I just laughed and said, "yeah okay." I could see how anyone hates it, season two was definitely mindless entertainment. Really disappointed we didnt get to see the cans on the chick he banged.

 

Reacher holding a woman on a gurney out of a helicopter with one hand while getting kicked in the face was worth the price of admission

 

Season 1 was definitely better than season 2. I've never read any of the books but is there a reason why they skipped so far ahead in the series?

 

Season 2 was very meh, trend back towards season 1

Finally watched it. Agree with everyone saying it wasn't as good as season 1. I don't need a complicated plot for a popcorn show but when you tell me who the badguy is from scene 2, it kind of kills any chance of a decent storyline. I don't really care what they were doing. Bad guy doing bad thing so there's no real intrigue to what exactly they were doing. This season was just going from fight to fight with a few sex scenes thrown in. Even then, I still enjoyed it and can't wait for season 3.

I loved BMW when it came out but how the fuck do they plan to pass any of them off as college aged 14 years later

 

Maybe they’re coaching now and have to deal with the players doing stupid shit.

 

Or they are in the pros? Arena league? Canada?

 

I mean techincally Thad had a career ending injury before his first training camp, but that is easily fixable. Just shot up with some rabies and it was all fixed.
