Not sure how I was targeted for this on fb but saw a post about someone trying to restore a creek on their farm to the original path after it was altered back in the 50s. Thought that was kinda interesting so did some digging on the person who posted it. Seemed like a normal guy in his 30s/early 40s but was also basically preserving some small town in Iowa. Then got more curious how he got all this money. Turns out he’s married to a Koch daughter and it all made much more sense.
