A guy I used to work with married a real life April Ludgate yesterday. They had a Halloween wedding on the porch of a haunted looking Victorian house in late 19th century(+/-) dress, the tiny Janet snakehole hat, snake rings, the whole bit. She seems to bounce between witch and 50’s pinup in her daily life. He’s an anime goober and they seem happy.
SHE DONT CARE BOUT NO FANCY TRENDS, SHES JUST A MOM FROM OL SOUTH BEND. GET HOME SAFE BOYS AND THANKS FOR PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM
Anyone been regularly watching on peacock? How’s their streaming experience compared to Netflix and Hulu?
I have the paid ad version free thru Comcast. I’ve watched a little and it’s about the same as Hulu with ads.
So annoying. I have it recorded on YouTube tv and fast forward through the commercials. Netflix is still the best way
Peacock doesn't have individual profiles though so it sucks if you share it with anyone else and you watch the same stuff.
Not sure if anyone else listens to Rob Lowe’s “Literally” Podcast but his latest guest is Michael Schur.
I suggested to Ben Schwartz on Twitter that he and Nick offerman do a parks rewatch podcast. It would blow office ladies out of the water
Was rewatching Ted Lasso and realized that Coach Beard is "The point is, my friend thinks you’re cute. Give me your number, so he can have it" guy
I have the most valuable currency in America; a blind, stubborn belief that everything I’m doing is 100% right!
Cancelled peacock because I rarely use it aside from PnR. Now it tells me it’s no longer on the free tier. Annoying.
Alan Yang and Rob Lowe have a new podcast where they’re reviewing each episode, called Parks and Recollection. They’re three episodes in.
I’ve only listened to the first episode but he’s treating the first season as a fan. He’d never seen the pilot before.
Only listened to the pilot EP at this point, but rob is very much watching as a fan and asking Alan about what it was like in the first 2 seasons
Trying to get through the podcast but Rob's add reads or horrifying. Obviously I skip them but good lord.
Binged seasons 2 and 3 this week out of boredom. Ann is the most perfect female character ever on a TV show or movie. Zero flaws, and easily #1 on the "TV/movie character you'd want to date/marry" rankings.
wow this is spicy I’m going to have to put some thought into this. my initial thought is - don’t you want some flaws in a partner? don’t want to get bored.
Ann's friends are all so flawed and you'd get all wrapped up in their world and that you wouldn't need anything else when you got home.
I’m not a big fan of cameo, but my wife got me a cameo of Perd in full character for my birthday. And yes, she is aware of my avatar on here.
