Love the show liked the ending hated that they killed Ruth are we sure Jonah didn’t kill Wendy? One can dream.
Just finished so very knee jerk. Not sure I get the feeling that it was rushed. I think if you dive into some of the other stuff like Wendy’s dad and camella or the PI then it would have start to feel really drawn out. I like how they kept the focus on the main story and really built up the tension. I was glued to the final episode and none of it felt wasted. killing eve is an example of a show that tried to dive more into side stories for the final season and it was a mess. Ozark’s final episodes were all pointing to the end at that point. Like when a video game tells you to stop doing side quests and to finish it already. really thought Ruth would win though. I thought the show was building to Wendy just being too reckless and desperation leading to her death. But they bought their way out so it fits. I also like how they brought Rachel back. Thought it worked and she was a good character. The big thing now is what happens with the fbi deal? Are they all screwed with Ruth killed? Only character that i really wish they did differently was Claire. For a giant pharma boss she was a weak character.
Timing wise I think the final shipment was still in the shed after Wyatt was killed. So yes the place was crawling with feds from a double murder scene and no one thought to look in the heroin warehouse. I always assumed it was super hidden but damn.
Correct on that they sold the heroin way after the murders happened. Claire acted like most "realistic" movies and shows do with big corporate people, assuming you mean "weak" = not a super tough skinned character. They act real tough and badass until someone that has made it clear they have no problem killing them, and then they turn into little snitch pussies.
Claire is also the daughter of the pharma boss and I think it’s fair that the second generation isn’t always that tough.
Right as in weak I mean she's not super tough skinned nor is she really tough in any sense. total pushover and seemingly never has any leverage against freaking Wendy before Wendy even has much leverage. Doesn't seem well protected either.
btw Ruth going back to a property where there was a drug connected double homicide and liberating all of that heroin was fucking hilarious
I was cool with the final scene, they did probably need one more episode to do Ruth justice and not rush her ending.
