That was a really good 3 episode arc. The relationships crack me up. I am glad that got that over with so we can see what happens next. The pirate queen is absolutely amazing, easily one of my favorite characters.
If they're referencing who I think, she's a pretty great historical character. She commanded a fleet of pirates bigger than the Chinese Navy at one point, and basically just retired and opened a brothel.
This show is really starting to hit its stride like he did with What We do In the Shadows. The scene on the island with the rabbit/wolf and the dinner and knife stabbing with Minnie Driver absolutely killed me.
I’m up to date. I think it is so funny how this is a show about pirates but it’s really a show about relationships and psychological exploration of self.
It's pretty much pointless to start watching an HBO show that doesn't air on Sunday nights anymore and have the expectation that they're not going to cancel it.
