I definitely intend to buy this one as well, but I would like to listen once first. I have no doubt it will be top notch.

Just bought the Jamey Johnson CD, so far so good.

 

Found out my roommate had went out and bought it yesterday, so while he was at work I slipped into his room and burned both discs onto the itunes... so far I'm loving it.

 

After listening to it again, I completely agree. He stopped loving her today is one of the GOAT songs

 

I saw George Jones perform that song at Bamajam. I went 6 to midnight.

 

I some how just managed to get front row seats to George Strait tomorrow night in Birmingham, then going to see Wade Bowen on Saturday night.. Going to be a great weekend

 

:curses: But have fun man. George Strait is the GOAT country concert performer IMO. Saw him at the Mohegan Sun in CT 3 years ago even after he cancelled the original show (laryngitis) he came back and put on a hell of a show a month later. Only other artist that I can say was better that I've seen was Bruce Springsteen. Strait sings his songs, hardly any bullshit, and walks off.

 

Also just realized he's coming to Philly the weekend my roommate goes home. Can't get there. :curses: :curses:

Every passing tour I think will be his last. I need to make at least one last show.

 

Bamatide there's a small chance I could be going to both shows too although the tickets to George aren't front row. You have a hell of a weekend ahead

 

Yeah saw him twice at the Ford Center in OKC. Just walks in, sings some songs, gets underwear thrown at him and then sings The Cowboy Rides Away and leaves.

 

Bamatide forgot to mention that it's Geore, Reba, and LeeAnn Womack

 

Yea, really only going to see George, but I won't mind staring at LeeAnn Womacks fine ass

 

I'll admit it I love Reba. She has a great voice. LeeAnn is just fine. But George is definitely the reason to go. I saw him and Little Big Town 2 years ago at the BJCC. Kenny Chesney came out on stage to perform Amarillo By Morning and didn't know the words. Thats when I lost any ounce of respect I had for him

 

The King put on one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.. Played all his old stuff

Absolutely.. Wouldn't ever pass up a chance to see Wade

 

Wade was badass on Saturday night.. There were only about 15-20 people there so he sang all his good old shit, and even sang Hey Jude.. Probably the best concert of his that I've been to

 

Did anyone go to a Hold My Beer and Watch This Show with Wade and Randy this summer? If so how was it?

That's one downside to the southeast we don't have all these guys. When they come to Alabama I get giddy like a schoolgirl

 

I've been the last 3 years and it's fucking awesome. They play old shit, covers, and pretty much explain the meaning behind their songs. They should have a lot more dates next summer. Randy's wife had a baby over the summer which is why they only had like 10 shows.

 

That is badass.. I love when I run in to girls that listen to some Texas Country.. Very appealing

The October lineup at the Dog is fantastic.

 

Holy shit.. I would for sure go to Bleu, Mike McClure, Randy, No Justice, Johnny Cooper, and Creager.. Thats ridiculous

 

yeah, October is going to be a great month at the Dog...i feel as though Randy would be an awesome way to be introduced to the Dog as well
