I bought a case of beer and some buffalo trace last night. Told my mom my plans and she called me an idiot and to not get too drunk. She knows me well.
The Sugar Land one? I got put in a headlock by a biker chick there with a skull and crossbones bandana when I was back from college. The next day we saw each other and passed like ships in the night. Our friends told us about the nice before and we laughed and took a shot together... them margs are no joke.
Anyone else have retarded friends marking themselves safe on Facebook before the storm even gets here? Or is it just my retarded friends?
Accounted for in upper Kirby. We bought a shit ton of chic fil a nuggets, cheez it's, pb&j materials, count chocula, all the booze. Got drunk at Berry hill, as stated earlier, and ate a lot of nuggets so I'm buying more tomorrow.
I justmoved here from the medical center. So probably not. Is the rain going on and off for anyone else. I really thought it would be here by now. Autocorrect/drinking move to busted...
Don't know what to think. Local fox meteorologist before midnight said reaching category 4 was good for Houston (and bad for everything between Rockport and Austin) because that additional energy might push it far enough inland to not make it back out to the Gulf (and then up to Houston), so we'd still get rain, but it'd be less. He also admitted that nobody knows anything and the models are all different, etc. 10 or some minutes ago, same channel, different guy said it was slowing down which was not good news for Houston. So who the hell knows. I'm kind of Montose/Midtown/Second Ward area, hasn't been bad over here yet. I don't know how widely this site is known, but www.spaghettimodels.com is interesting to check every couple hours or so.
I'm in Shady acres/heights and it's been nothing so far. Just walked my dog, bullfrogs having a god damn party.
Heights checking in. The mayor said the city can handle 2 inches of water an hour. Let's hope no matter how many days this lasts we can stay around that.
Anyone in the wash ave area? I'm out of town for the weekend but being that close to the Bayou doesn't give me much hope
