I think it was a risky hit. He ultimately mostly goes shoulder to shoulder but I don’t think you should go across a guys body to the far shoulder like that. His back this catches Oshie’s head. I wouldn’t mind seeing a game for it. not that it’s a crazy dirty play but more could have gone wrong with that angle than right.
The depth up front isn’t there anymore and the Sergachev injury was a big blow to the defense. It’s an average team at 5 on 5 against a really good one. Lightning were going to need to win the special teams battle and Vasy to be on his game to win the series.
