I’ve been reading Paul Lukas and Uni-Watch for as long as I can remember. I’m bummed he’s taking a step back.

 

Ah man. That sucks.

 

The update there is long, but it says the site will remain active with Phil Hecken taking over on a trial basis. Then Paul will reevaluate in a few months. Still, Paul is Uni-Watch so it really sucks (for readers) that he’s stepping back. The guy is turning 60 and has been writing about uniforms for 25 years, so I can’t blame him.

 

Ive always enjoyed UniWatch. I did always find it funny he complained about ads on uniforms but the blog is almost unbearable without an adblock.

 

Awful.

Correct, wouldn’t go into effect until football season of 25. There’s a possibility they buy out the rest of the UA contract but that likely won’t happen.

The Texans are incapable of creating any branding or uniforms that are remotely cool. They spent all year telling us how they were going to reinvent the identity based on all this feedback from the fans and its more Madden create a type garbage
