I am doing a zoom blind RCES tasting tonight as part of the RC Clubhouse on Facebook, where I need to write down notes and proof. I really feel like I am in over my head and on top of it my taste is shot again and I am only getting ethanol. In any case, my struggle with thinking about notes is usually not knowing what to look for. I think these two charts do a great job of explaining what notes are in each category and the intensity of those notes to look for. May help some of you guys reach the preferred level of douchiness that I am aspiring to achieve.
I may have just Doordashed six bottles of architect for $1.49 each. Non-zero chance this actually goes through.
No I have taste. This has been going on back and forth for the past couple of months. Things go from amazing one day to disgusting the next. It is some type of allergy that leads to drip.

Believe price point is going to be around $60. I can’t get behind a “greater than 2yr” distillate at that price. I do want to support them so I’ll probably pick one up.
It says $59.99, so believe. Yeah I figured thats what you were after on the age statement. Ive had the last two founders and both were pretty good, not great
Their experimental stuff is fun. Their distillate is legitimately good. Some of their moves are easy enough to justify in harnessing the decreasing momentum of limited releases.
It's weird how some nights you palate is just off. I can drink something I've loved before and just it's just not as good some times.
Preorder for batch 2. Free shipping if you have seelbach's pro. I just ordered 1 this time. https://seelbachs.com/products/risi...t-bourbon-batch-2?_pos=1&_sid=83d00044e&_ss=r also available on sharedpour... https://sharedpour.com/products/ris...d-release?mc_cid=ea259be368&mc_eid=41ca50ba07
No, I just knew it was going on presale today at noon due to a Facebook post they made and I checked Seelbach's. Sharedpour sent out an email just now though.
Yeah I got the shared pour email. That's why I was wondering. I really liked the wheated he did so I'm probably going to bite the bullet on this one too. But damn it's pricey.
That is a personal decision. I have 3 from Batch 1 and really enjoy it. I only grabbed 1 this time so far though. Other people hate it. I think it sells for more than the $250 on secondary if that helps.
Ran by my go-to tonight to grab an EH Taylor and they also had an Elmer t Lee. First time getting one.
Stuck in Gainesville, FL for two nights. It’s making me want to drink. Spoiler Always good when the Noles softball team run-rules gator in their own house
Yeah, I live a couple minutes away and have been a few times. Never had much luck, but haven’t developed any relationships there. I feel like you need to buy a considerable amount of wine to get any favors.
It’s been a minute since I’ve been in there, but I used to find wfp, and Elmer just sitting on their shelves.
I salute you fellas in your fervid pursuit of bourbon. I have become complacent with my current collection.
