Also, your city has been awesome and everyone has been great. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend to others. I'm going to be watching for when Darius Rucker plays at the Grand Ole Opry (after his show in a few weeks, too late for that) and will be trying to come for that. Would love to see a show there. The Ryman was amazing, I can understand why it's talked about so highly
If any of y'all are interested or know anyone interested (anywhere in America basically) the Mobile dog track is ending live racing effective 19 August. They have an estimated 280 greyhounds that will go out to adoption agencies so the local chapters are going to need all the foster homes they can get. I know GPA Nashville pays for all food, vet care and crate, etc for the fosters. I assume all the chapters do the same. Here's a list of GPA chapters, I'm not sure if there are other groups that adopt out retired racers or not. http://www.greyhoundpets.org/chapters.php
Bully is going to end their upcoming tour with two nights in town (they're playing down the street from my place in early November ) @ Mercy Lounge 12/14 and 12/15
Looks like you have to pre-register if you're trying to grab Isbell tickets for the Oct 9 show, and even then aren't guaranteed a presale code and/or a ticket. https://jasonisbell.tmverifiedfan.com/?camefrom=EMCL_1775907_70574034
I had that thought this morning. It seems like we've had a large uptick in gun violence recently, but this week....god damn people
"If affiliation with country music is one of Nashville’s major appeals, consider the sort of mainstream country music Nashville is affiliated with, and ask yourself, Are the penis whistles really surprising?" http://www.nashvillescene.com/news/cover-story/article/20971015/the-bachelorettes

Hello gents, I'm moving to your fair city next week for a job. Very excited about the move, and quite honestly it came together so damn fast I haven't had time to think. Would love to meet some fellow TMBers if any of y'all are down. My sister lives in the area, but I don't know anyone else really. Thanks, Wayne

Going to Kentucky for a bourbon tour at Heaven hills Wednesday then coming to Nashville on Thursday morning till Sunday to party. Anything exciting coming up this weekend?
I am really impressed with how open Megan Barry has been about her son's death. Lots of public figures would keep it private or sweet it under the rug. Her being so open helps people and families out there who are going through similar things realize they are not alone and that addiction/substance abuse is something that cuts across all social classes
Just listed my extra room on AirBnB for the eclipse. What remaining rooms in Nashville/Murfreesboro are available, are going for like $100 a night or more. Maybe I can cash in on that.
Frugals was the go-to, because it was cheapest. But, also try J&Js Market right by the old Noshville and Midtown Wine and Spirits.
jesus apparently BA charges $25,000 for tuition probably the worst value you will find when it comes to private school education, perhaps anywhere in the nation IMO
"Davenport didn't reveal specifics about her new job at 104.5 The Zone. But sources say she'll be on the afternoon show, replacing former Titans safety Blaine Bishop, who is moving to mornings to replace Frank Wycheck, who'll become a floater for the station." Blaine to the Wake Up?
We just did a bourbon tour at heaven hills and been drinking at a local bar. Headed to Nashville in morning. Gonna head to downtown for sure no plans
