Played for 4 hours tonight with some friends hit level 14 and just did my first extreme difficulty mission set fuck Bile Titans
I tried pulling us into a game in progress, and it only showed you and the random. Then I tried to back out, and could see you running around, then crashed. RIP
it depends. I was playing with friends yesterday and mid mission it kicked me off the team but kept me in the mission and I had to finish it solo and rejoin them from my ship. Same thing happened to a friend of mine today too
Just failed a suicidal for the first time. The map was damn near pitch black. It was so hard to see. Had some amazing visuals at times though. When all you could see was the silhouette of a bile titan it was like something out of stranger things.
finally got to extreme difficulty level and level 17, so 20 is in sight. When this game gets going, it really kicks. Don't know what it'll be like in a month, but pretty great so far.
I hope everyone who stays logged in has their system burn up. Ive been in the queue for over 30 minutes and it's not even noon
There's a trick on PlayStation. Close out the game. When hovering over the game tab down and find the quick play option. Select that. It got all of us right into the game yesterday.
Once you are in, things seem to be running a lot smoother with matchmaking. This is the most stable it has been running, since I got the game Saturday.
I finally got in earlier. Finished a mission and it crashed as extraction ship was landing. Now I am queued :(
I’ll be back in tomorrow and posting my code I just unlocked the orbital laser thing and I’m tryna use it on some democracy hating scum
can confirm the AFK thing is working. I stopped for like 5 minutes to work on my computer and was kicked to the title screen. Just finished my first suicide mission and was lucky to unlock impossible because it completed the quickplay guy's 3rd mission. Definitely tough, but wasn't as bad as I had feared. Also helped that I finally hit 20 and have the railgun. Still find the laser backpack buddy was pretty effective at that level, too.
forgot to add, we 3 manned it after the 4th left 4 minutes in and no one else ever joined. But the other 2 were very competent. Amazing what that can do. I suppose if you're getting to that level, you can expect most randos to have some level of ability and understanding of the game.
I can’t wait until you randomly match with me. But seriously, it is amazing when you get a group of guys working together.
I think the most important thing I've learned as I've moved up the difficulties (besides obvious stuff like which stratagems are good/unlocking them) is that you don't have to fight everything. If there's no objective in your area, disengage and run and only worry about killing something preventing you from running. You can outrun most things and they'll eventually give up as you're running to your next objective. Too many groups I join get caught up in a pointless firefight that uses all all our reinforcements and wastes time and resources without accomplishing anything.
Yeah I'm constantly having to tell my group let's move. You'll just get stuck killing stuff otherwise.
I did one solo game last night (using the quick play trick mentioned above). I killed some bug commander or something and completed the mission. It was pretty awesome, and I can imagine that it is a lot more fun when you have a group with you. Still not used to the controls and all that but it was literally my first time playing.
the longer the mission goes on the more enemies you’ll face good friend of mine is obsessed with doing every objective and every bug nest on the map it’s good because of the samples but shit does it get stesssful
Yeah my group wants to hit everything. But the higher you go that's just not feasible. I'm just trying to find the rare samples. The purple ones.
I think you get the option of making it public or private? Maybe that changes once you get into a game? What's your code?
I checked too late, code doesn't work. I rarely use a headset, too much going on in my house right now, lol
