got in and was able to join a group in progress, finish that, now stuck on black loading screen after extraction. The Helldivers 2 experience.
This game has it's hooks in me, tho it's pretty simple. Kinda rinse/repeat, but it's fun as shit, and has me wanting to play when I'm doing real life things throughout the day.
same played all night tonight and last night and with nothing going at work tomorrow I’ll probably play after the gym too
Only complaint about this game is the rifles and smg’s seem useless and those are the guns I typically like to use in shooters
Railgun is the best weapon and fucks up heavy armored guys Breaker for clearing out groups Uzi for running away from death Rock the engineer light armor bc super fast and carries 2 extra democracy filled nades and crouch recoil control switch to tanky fuck armor in the automation defense missions. level 16 and didn’t play at all this weekend because of server shit show. Past 2 weeks before servers got crazy the game was insanely fun
Pretty much exactly what I've been running. Swap the armor with 50% explosive resistance for automatons. Saves from being one shot by the rocket guys.
My go to setup these days (in that I’ve barely started going against bots ) is Stalwart with RPM cranked all the way up, Rover, either a Gatling or cannon sentry, and typically a direct orbital strike along with Breaker and uzi
I’ve been using the laser guard dog (he does shoot the shit out of me), precision air strike thing, rocket launcher, air cannon turret.
The 500kg bomb is a blast. Is it actually that useful? Kind of depends. Can take down a bile titan in one shot if it hits right. But my favorite strategems are the orbital laser (only 3 uses but it's a great oh shit stratagem) and I've been using different turrets based on what we're fighting. They're great for bug breaches or whatever the robot equivalent is called. Also been using the orbital rail cannon to get a one shot on bigger enemies.
I love it in defend position scenarios. I just throw it out there and forget that section until shit pops off. But there are other more useful things to slot instead for everything else.
I’ve only fought bots about 4-5 times, but mortar turret is a must against them cause that shit can bring down drop ships
