i wonder what the twist will be. the daughter is the killer and the dad has been trying to bend her back to normal with the pop concert?
Leone is Tarantino's guy and he is remembered for only directing 7 features, basically all heaters and like 4 masterpieces
I'm mixed on both parts. I need to do a back to back watch at some point. I think part two is probably the most well made movie ever, but the pacing is just all over the place for me for it to be an elite movie. But riding the sandworm in imax was a top tier scene.
The entire time he thinks he's the one they're after but it turns out the cops are after someone at the concert. He's not actually a serial killer and it's all made up in his head seeing on the news. Why else would a concessions guy know what the cops are doing.
Going to watch several things off this silly list tomorrow https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/guide/essential-stoner-movies/
Abigail is okay - there's some fun performances and buckets of blood. I got the impression it was a good concept but they kind of ran out of ideas by the end, so the last half hour is a bit of a struggle. Should have been 90-something minutes - 110 was too long.
I’m the opposite. I struggled through the first 30 but loved the rest. But, I also love buckets of blood and horror cheese.
Abigail was enjoyable 7.5/10 It wasnt really scary just gorey but the whole cast was fantastic particular Melissa and Dan Stevens. I did shed a tear seeing Angus on the screen though. I kinda want them to do a whole vampire universe now It was no Ready or Not for sure but what is nowadays
last day for the arrow easter sale lots of value to be found, especially on box sets https://www.arrowvideo.com/campaigns/easter-carnage.list edit: looks like they may have ended it at noon est prices back to their normal levels
All I’ll say is this Tennis has never been sexier and it was already pretty damn sexy also Trent Reznor should do more movies tbh
Given the themes, Once Upon A Time....In Hollywood would've been a great film to go out on. You fucked it up, QT.
This looks pretty good. I love me some Viggo Mortensen and he wrote and directed this. Set in the 1860s, Vicky Krieps stars as Vivienne, a spirited woman who starts a relationship with Danish immigrant Olsen (Mortensen). After meeting Olsen in San Francisco, Vivienne agrees to travel with him to his home near the quiet town of Elk Flats, where they start a life together. The Civil War separates them, leaving Vivienne to fend for herself in a place controlled by powerful rancher Jeffries, played by Garret Dillahunt, and his violent, wayward son, Weston (Solly McLeod).
