Idk if any of you are fans of the old show LOST, but the whole cold open of the finale episode of season 3 was beat for beat like an episode of lost, right down to the music.

Yeah, the Stevens were by far the worst of the season and it’s a shame both didn’t die in the finale as they were both set up to. Maybe season 4 opens with a report the one on the moon mercifully opened his helmet during a lonely walk and the other commuted suicide offscreen from guilt. Other than them, though, I really enjoyed the rest of the season.
They fucked up when they wrote that scene with Karen sleeping with Danny for some reason in season 2, and just kept doubling down on that for some inexplicable reason. Just have her start an affair with that rich guy she ended up marrying.
Damn. Karen sold the Outpost to rich Sam. Then Karen and Sam own a space station together, so I assume they were fucking/married cause she had control of the space station after he died?
I believe they were just business partners, Sam was married to Tracy before she died. Regardless, your underlying point stands.

Now, why would Sam invest with Karen Baldwin, if they weren't fucking/married? She had 300k from the Outpost sale.
I assume he valued her as a business partner. Takes a lot more than 300k to build a space hotel. IIRC she was the brains/impetus behind the space tourism idea and he was the money man.

Thinking through all this, I’m surprised they didn’t have the stevens boys inherit Sam’s half of Polaris, just to thrust Danny and Karen back together in another stupid way.
Just binged this. Loved it, but as others have mentioned, the Stevens brothers suck and should both be dead.
I still can’t get over the Pedo storyline in season 2. Never watched the final episode of that season. Have little desire to start it back up.
I’ll be more than happy if they just simply not bring them up again. Show me some cool shit in space.
Just binged all four seasons with an Apple TV trial, overall enjoyable even with the Stevens brothers trying to "blow it up" in more ways than one. Season four has to be a Helium-3 war on the moon and a race to Titan.
Bingeing this one. Thru 4 eps. Love the cast and premise. Curious how they play it out timeline wise if there are 4 seasons. I’m assuming the young Latina girl ends up being an astronaut and is a major character after some sort of time-skip. Just not sure where else that screentime they keep spending time on could end up going…
Last 2 episodes of Season 1 were INTENSE capturing and interrogating the russian cosmonaut whole thing with the son (kind of unnecessary drama tbh but it was done well and I see the purpose it served for character development) catastrophe after catastrophe on Apollo 24 + the repairs Fucking Frank Sobotka not making it through an entire season of another show Chris Bauer killed it Definitely hooked but need a good 24-48 hour break after watching the last 2 eps of S1 last night. Thought it was hilarious that Cobbs husband dropped out of med school, became a hippie and moved to Austin. Sounds very on brand with a lot of older people I've met here that basically did the same thing
also love penny from lost and homelander's baby mama. jack from ted lasso i'm still not sold on. definitely sold on her having real big feet though. those claws made an appearance in both shows

Alright. First strike for this show for me. Mrs Baldwins affair with her dead sons best friend at the bar was the dumbest fucking waste of screen time on unnecessary drama presumably just to “give her character something to do” in season 2. this show has enough legitimate story-driven drama going for it, the affair was stupid as fuck and the writers should feel bad for falling into the “hey let’s create a random affair for more drama” bullshit TV show cliche. hopefully they don’t ever waste another second of screentime on it. And glad they moved on immediately to legitimate drama like space marines shooting unarmed cosmonauts

TBH if they really had to do something to start leading into her and Ed splitting (obv if the affair continues then people are gonna find out and they’ve done a decent job showing their marriage trend towards being shit ever since he put himself on Pathfinder… with her support) they could have had her have an affair with Sam Cleveland or something. Having the affair is stupid there’s other viable writing options that get you to a divorce and they were doing a good job of it even including the kiss. They could have stopped there and been fine. Having the affair be with her dead sons best friend / basically her fucking son that she raised while space couple was training is so off character and takes her from being a frustrated wife in a rocky marriage to being a piece of shit human and borderline groomer
