Honest to god i wish i had the lack of shame or self reflection to follow NASA saying 'extraordinary claims[...]' with that elon tweet, especially with how many times he's said that in the past and having nothing to show for it

I would like to hear what Whammy thinks about Elon’s latest attempt to fix the bot problem. What are your contacts in The Valley saying?
I’d love to see Tesla continue to find bizarre reasons to fuck over their most loyal consumers. It makes Tesla look horrible and their fanboys sad. It’s the best.
Shitposting pays better than I thought. Make millions Buy solid business Run it into the ground shitposting Profit
I don't get how that doesn't enrage everyone (not this board obv) but that is disgusting to pay him that much
*inherit millions *scam your way into ownership of business *manipulate government contracts *buy functioning social media application ——-
Where is the $55b coming from? Dumping $55b to one person is not healthy for a company yet these cucks will gladly do it even though it's not good for them. I don't get it.
I was trying to find out how much it was and the tweet thread goes back to this story that gives the amount...
Yea it's just insane and idk why an investor in the company would vote for it other than to worship that weirdo. It's dumb that some CEO's make $50m but $50b is just absurd. The company might be able to make a functioning truck by investing that money into the company.
I'm sure their board is like any non-profit's relationship with their CEO. They rubber stamp anything he wants and in return he does them favors like using their pesticide company for bugs or contacts their environmental services or whatever
The number was basically backed into to get his ownership back above a certain threshold that gives him the power to veto anything and make any shareholder resolution dead on arrival. No governance issues here…
Right, but they could issue/sell stock and raise money to use for the company instead of just giving it to the already really rich guy. Or just not do it at all and have less stock so the shares the investors own are worth more. Issuing $55b in stock just to give it to the already really rich guy is super cuck behavior. It makes no sense for anyone but Elon.
They’re giving him the right to buy shares at $23. Over the course of Tesla’s existence their total profit is ~40b edit: its creation of new shares
Right, which only benefits him. "Hey let's water down our shares so we can sell the 2nd richest man on the planet more on the low" is really really dumb.
Yes. I’ve seen estimates that it will cost shareholders ~$18 per share in equity. It’s incredibly stupid that they’re not ousting him from his position after Twitter/Cybertruck
stockholders as personality cult isn't super novel but its definitely odd when he's so openly incompetent
Tesla stock is meanwhile having another bad week. Currently down to 150.42 from 171.61 at close last Friday. That makes it now down 39.45% YTD.
