Here is BlazingRebel with another must play game that most have never heard of. Dragon's Dogma is 3rd person RPG that is unlike any that has ever been created. The combat system is basically Dark Souls meets God of War. This game is incredibly hard, but the feeling of triumph you get when you beat a huge creature is one of the best in business. If you wade in the water, and you DO NOT dry off with a cloth you or your pawn will get a cold. If you don't rest after multiple days then your character will literally pass out on the road. The coolest thing in the game by far is the pawn system. You create one pawn that becomes your companion, and you can hire up to two more pawns that other 360/PS3 user's created. Every enemy has a weakness that you can exploit, and when a pawn fights a creature they learn, and will call out those weakness and strategies that you can use. Your pawn can also be bought by other players when you aren't playing the game. It is very unique, and getting rewards from players that use your pawn and like it is a moment. It is a huge map with no quick travel unless you have a lot of money, and no horse to help you get around. Enemies change depending on the time of day, and the night time enemies can be ridiculous. The first mini boss is a amazing looking Chimera. Lion, Goat, and Snake heads all there. With the lion head controlling the movement, the goat head controlling the magic, and the snake head being the tail and quickest of the three heads that attack. Each head will attack independently and it is a sight to sit back and watch for a second. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gRIsebiJBM

I bought it for my little brother for his bday. After I beat Diablo 3 on Inferno, Dogma will be my next project.
Wait so you won't believe me that I beat Dark Souls and Demon Souls, but you will believe me that I can beat D3 on Inferno. I'm on Act 4 on Hell difficulty right now. Hoping to get to Inferno at some point tonight.
I guarantee you that I know 10x more about video games then your entire staff at Gamestop. You even admitted that you respect the opinions of Irush and I in the TR thread. You forget I used to work at a video game store as well plus you bought Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City.
Pshh, I just gave you two a shout out because I know you two play video games as much as I do. I'm definitely in the hierarchy. As far as raccoon city. Even the great ones make mistakes
I don't see enough of your recommendations to give a true grade, but I have brought Dark Souls, Shadows of the Damned, Dragon's Dogma, and The Witcher 2 to this board. All those games are fantastic, yet don't get enough love because they aren't major titles. Let's be honest most Gamestop employees are not very knowledgeable outside of major titles that the company forces them to push. I worked at a mom and pop's game store, and could give true opinions on games as long as I could still make a sale on a game of equal price. I used to love giving the COD kids shit every time they came into the store.
I was looking at this game the other week and wasn't sure. I'll probably try it sometime this summer.
I couldn't remember what your new username was my bad. How is the gaming headset working out for you?
Highly, highly recommend the Witcher 2. Actually just bought The Witcher 1 and about to fire it up, can't fucking wait. Really looking forward to the sexcapades
Dragon's Dogma there is no level cap, and it has new game +. The Witcher 2 is a great game, but if you beat it twice then you pretty much see all that it has to give.
Just picked this up. Think I am going to go with a strider type. Any tips on what to do with my pawn?
Well you chose the hunter ranged type, so your pawn should probably be a warrior so he can tank/protect you.
How many hours do you get for one playthrough, assuming you do all the side quests? I'm trying to figure out if I should buy now or wait for the price to come down a little more.
All 3 classes have great advantages and disadvantages, but make sure when you make your pawn it supports your player. If you are a warrior make your pawn a mage, if your a mage make your pawn a warrior to protect you. Strider you can make your pawn any of the 3 classes.
Depends if you want a great story The Witcher 2 if you want more customization and character development then Dogma.
I like the combat on Dragons Dogma more than the Witcher. Just a lot more styles and ways to play the game. Summoning a tornado for the first time was amazing.
