Just started season three. I’m ready to have no idea what the fuck is happening for another 8 episodes.
Is this supposed to be the last season? EDIT: Appears so, and the headlines I’m reading is that the series finale is epic.
Watched the first 2 eps during my kid's nap. Episode 1 spoiler: Spoiler THEY GAVE SPACE WOLLER HIS EYE BACK BUT TOOK HIS ARM INSTEAD LOLOLOLOLOL
Just got done with episode 5. This show is just so epic Spoiler Man prime worlds Ulrich and Katerina didnt deserve their fates. Her being the mysterious woman they found drowned in the 86 is nuts. And her mom's necklace falling off there that Jonas and Martha find in the sand
Starting it here in a few hours. Excited to watch alongside the cool kids club instead of years later this time.
I might have to hold off, started some afternoon drinking and know from experience you need all your wits to watch this show.
It will definitely be easier to follow after dinner when I am 4 beers and a couple of glasses of wine deep.
Just firing up the back half now. Feel smug for guessing “the origin”. These worlds and timelines intertwined is straight up insanity.
Episode 4 question Spoiler If the Jonas-Martha hook up involved the Alt-Martha then how did the first world Martha have dreams about it in season 2?
I can't find a torrance for episode 8 that is in English. Hopefully it comes out by the time I get there, because no way at 2 in the morning I am going to be able to read.
On the finale now. Been a piece of shit all day and done nothing. No regrets. Episode 7 is masterfully shot
Episode 6 Spoiler Hopefully the actress that played Martha got paid per tear for this season. Poor girls been through a lot.
Been staring at the final title screen for like 15 minutes. Don’t want to hit play, don’t want it to end.
i am very carefully watching this show and restarting, taking my time. I don’t want it to end either.
lol I just watched the IMDB "get caught up/cheat sheet video" on Youtube and it basically reminded me of how I have no idea what the hell is going on. It's amazing how good a show can be when you genuinely have no clue what's really happening.
Spoiler Jonas/Adam wanted to end the cycle, end the madness. Martha/Eva wanted to keep the knot tied so everyone would be reborn and never die. Neither one was wrong. In the end Claudia was the champion that understood and dissected the knot. And I still don’t know who her dad actually was?
I loved the ending. Loved the show. So glad they didnt prolong it for like 5 or 6 seasons. I hope the writers of the show start to work on more scifi because I'll definitely check it out. They tied together almost every loose end that I can think of which is damn impressive for how convoluted it could get
There were a couple loose ends that they didn’t fully tie up or just really didn’t mean that much, specifically the cop from season 2 and his brothers death as it related to Aleksander. That said, nothing really mattered, so loose ends weren’t a big deal. I still have no idea what the role of their child was. Which world were they killing people in? I was a little unclear of why those people were being offed. Also, who is Agnus husband/trantes dad? I’m sure a lot of this was covered, but my eyes were bleeding trying to stay awake.
Spoiler i think there’s a joke made during the final scene that alludes to minor strings left hanging. I see it as misdirects to keep us off the path.
Yes, I wasn't bothered by it, because again nothing that happened there really mattered. It was just a bastardized world. I do think on a philosophical level, Jonas and Martha and everyone else had the lives they had regardless of whether the new world had them in it or not. As someone who doesn't believe in God or the afterlife, as long as they were aware then they lived.
Alt-Aleksander had that scene where he told alt-Bartosz that he killed the cops brother when he was younger, it was an accident but he couldn’t prove it so he ran away. The kid trio was killing people in both universes so they could get the keys and cause the simultaneous meltdowns in 86 to form the god particles. I never caught who could of been Tronte’s dad.
Yes, I caught the Bartosz conversation and I always sort of suspected that he was a good guy and it was an accident. Still curious. I am assuming the cop died in the Armageddon.
Spoiler the role of Jonas/Martha’s sons was 100% to assure the ball was rolling in Eves favor thus providing the thing that she wanted most, their/his existence
Oh most definitely those photos were of really dead people and he was like the 2nd photo they showed...Charlotte only survivor by going through the portal similar to Helge and Jonas end of season 1
Spoiler I've been reading up and a lot of people seem to be saying that Jonas and Martha's kid who everybody calls the Unknown is who Agnes had Tronte with
It would make sense. It couldn’t have been Noah and didn’t seem like it was the other priest because he didn’t seem bad.
