That's essentially what my build was before but didn't even really need to the bullet dodging because of how often I could activate sandevistan.
so when does phantom liberty shit happen in game? i'm trying to figure out how far into a new playthrough i should go before it's released.
I read after the Transmission quest. It's apparently fairly early in the game. I would guess after you acquire the relic and all that.
It's been good since around patch 1.5 but it's absolutely top tier now. Like, honestly one of my favorite gaming experiences of the last 5 years. The build you can come up with are insane. You damn near become superhuman with cyberware.
Going to do a new playthrough once I'm finished with this one and try out the berserker build. Ones I've seen look insane.
About 15 hrs in to 2.0 and loving the new gameplay basically doing a ninja John Wick build of just Pistol/Sword/Throwing Knife dumping points into reflex, cool, technical ability but I still feel like I’m not optimizing it enough. Really want a Sandevistan but I don’t want to lose my cyberdeck for turning off cameras and shit
I've always used Sandevistan. It's stronger than ever now. I bumped it up to very hard and even Max Tac can't touch me. Have body, reflex, and tech maxed out with 15 in cool. Some of the new cyberware you can get is really strong.
maybe I’ll give it a shot and just rush people rather than trying to do my combo Headhunter/Shinobi build
That's what I do. I do stealth sometimes. With the Apogee Sandevistan you can activate it and move from cover to cover and then deactivate it.
I got on at 9 last night and told myself I’d create my character and hit the sack. Logged off at midnight and I’ve been researching every chance I get at work. Might be better than fallout 76
Definitely get the Apogee when you can. That + the Axiotle or whatever it's called and you'll have slow time anytime you want.
I bought it for PS4 but it didn’t work for it but now that I got the PS5 I may try it again. Don’t even care if I have to start all over and give myself a big dong.
I was pretty hyped for it before it came out but what I've seen of it hasn't impressed me. It's not the game I thought it was.
Haven’t started phantom liberty yet but I have been hardcore about the rest. Doing gigs and side jobs, killing psychos etc and getting my build up. This game is pure bliss for me. Checks all the boxes for me wrt to aesthetic, action/movement, build craft, combat and fun open world. Can’t convince myself to drive any though since I’ve been unlocking movement abilities
I just use the Akira bike all the time so I can see my character sometimes. Plus that bike is amazing.
I like that one too. Still a bit salty we can't choose which colors our vehicles are. I see random Nazare that looks amazing but we can't keep them.
Worst game ever. I tried to start this again on the PS5 and it got stuck in a loop during tutorial and kicked me out of the game
i'll never forget the time your drunk ass spent an hour looking for something in borderlands 3 while i was just standing there next to it. good times.
Beyond it. I got 50 hours rn and just got to PL and there’s absolutely nothing about it so far that feels like it’s gonna slow down. Better than TW3 for me which cracks my top 10. been since GOW 2018 that I’ve felt this way about a video game
I would like more switches to third person in like cutscenes and shit so there’s more reason to make a cool character and wear certain clothes but I’d like the combat and walking around to be in first person maybe we can like sit at a noodle bar or coffee shop and drink/eat while waiting for a call on a mission and have a 3rd person camera idk the next game needs more of the immersion the new apartments added for sure
I definitely wouldn't mind a toggle where could swap between. I do ride a motorcycle a lot just so I can see my character. Plus they are easier to drive.
Finally got a few hours in with this today, made it through the first mission. I haven't played anything nearly this involved in months so I feel like a toddler getting used to all the mechanics and systems but I'm liking it a lot and I know that will only increase as I get my shit together.
Idk if you guys picked Female V but if you didn’t you’re missing an all timer from Cherami Leigh. Sucks so hard she has to share so much screen time with Keanu
first time playing as female V after finally getting over my Panam thirst. It’s a great performance especially with the more sarcastic lines really do like how Male V delivers the sad shit though
