I’m doing the same with Horizon. It’s one of my favorite games but I’ll wait. New Destiny comes out next week and since that matters as far as leveling up I’ll grind it out and wait on Horizon. Hopefully one day I can get a PS5
Now I have to decide if I DL the patch on PC where I already own it for the better frame rates with RTX on or if I buy it again on PS5 for the dual sense integration
I’ll be honest a couple glitches like the car hovering when parked and not being able to pick up some items close to a wall, but besides that, it looks/responds pretty fucking good
Played it last night and thought it was optimized on Xbox. Downloading the update now and then getting wisdom teeth pulled. Consuming a shit ton of edibles and diving in.
The munchies mixed with the inability to chew or retain liquid in your mouth without it pouring out is gonna be a good ass time.
legendary armadillo down to 75 each. everything had slots reduced substantially. all of my bullseye and whatever the crit damage one is seems to be gone.
ok so i guess they're still there but restricted by clothing slot. mod slots still halved and theyre nerfed to the point of irrelevance.
Am I getting old or can someone explain to me why I would want to see and or edit the length of my penis in a video game?
Downloaded it last night and played a bit. It reset my perk points and I can't really remember where I had everything before. Now I can't use my favorite gun because apparently I don't have enough strength. But It didn't change any of those points so not sure what's going on there.
They changed enough of the perks and added a bunch more, so they said on the stream yesterday that everyone needs to reallocate points even if you're continuing your save
Watching the stream, the world seemed so much more alive. My favorite part was how they showed how different the crowds are. They just started shooting at random cars and people to show the chaos that ensues. Cars were driving on sidewalks and hitting pedestrians, random pedestrians would start shooting, bouncers come out of clubs to kill you and the pedestrians with guns, and random drivers would get scared and pass out at the wheel. Sold me on playing again, honestly.
Figured they made some changes. I just can't figure out why I don't have enough strength to use my gun now. They must have changed the requirements for it or something.
I just started playing this today... wanted to wait for the next gen version. Glad I did, enjoying it so far.
Same, it looks gorgeous. Some minor glitches, but honestly what game doesn’t have glitches in 2021/22
Just finished my Horizon Zero Dawn replay, gonna dick around and try the new patch to kill time until Forbidden West drops
One thing I noticed is the amount of auto saves the game does. If you run into a mission ending glitch (which I haven’t), atleast it’s not the end of the world.
Looks good, real good. City seems more alive then I imagine it was on the old gen. Still a few glitches here and there with vehicles and had a pedestrian just despawn right in front of me Think they did a good job but it will probably be a another patch or two before I go do a full playthrough again
This might be a very dumb question but I had the PS4 version of this installed on my SSD. Downloaded the PS5 upgrade today. Can I get rid of the old PS4 version (which keeps trying to download the 1.5 patch)? Or does the PS5 version still use some of the files from the PS4? I’ve never really played so no save data to worry about.
If it’s like most games, the save data is separate from the actual game files. It’s why you can uninstall and download different digital games, then reinstall the old one and go back to the saved game you had before. Was the biggest reason I decided to stick to digital only.
Just got to the actual Forbidden West. This game is shaping up to be incredible. Lol oops wrong thread.
I liked it a lot even when it was buggy as hell. It's so good now. Of course they dropped the patch when so much shit is dropping. But I'll definitely be playing it a lot.
Do yourself a favor and don’t grind out all the side quests before the main quests, especially the little crime based ones (Npc based ones like panam etc are good though) It gets boring and makes the end feel anti climactic
Didn't they say they are looking into new game +. I thought it was already a thing but apparently it isn't yet.
This dude telling me I need to power through a 20 hour story else I’ll get bored tells me this game needs a lot more content
Thoroughly enjoying this game, some glitches like UI staying on, no free gear to complete a side quest. Don’t really care, combat is fun once you start leveling up.
On the Placide mission why do I randomly die for no reason when I’m trying to find the van in the lobby?
I just finished the game for the first time. Its a good game would probably give it an 8 maybe 8.5/10 when its good its really fucking good, but idk i feel like the overall pacing of the game is a little off, some great missions and side missions but also quite a few meh ones. I feel like the writing in the witcher 3 was way better, so that was kind of a letdown. I spent 45 hours with the game, but honestly felt like i didnt do much of anything for like half that time, never had that feeling in witcher 3.
This game can’t hold my attention. It’s fun but at the same time i don’t ever feel like doing anything. I haven’t played more than half hour in any sitting.
