Haha Well, he was showing promise from what I remember but so was Crawley and the rest of the team last fall so who fucking knows
yep, coming off a knee surgery the good news is that he is being stole from Colorado State's commitment list
I like all of them, but I'm hoping Perkins is the only one that ends up on our commit list. We need a couple of bigger bodies in next years class, and I like some of the other offers we have out. I don't know what our chances are with some of them, but we have a lot of good offers out and probably won't have many spots. One bit of good news going into next year is it looks like Andre is starting to slip on draft boards, so I think he'll be back.
Problem is that next year is a weak year for big men who can bang downlow on the West Coast so we're going to have to go the Oregon route, but we have to find someone first. If Collier and Perkins end up on our commit list, I would have absolutely no issues with it. Scholarships are going to be interesting next season. We really need SHT, Mills, and Adams to leave and there's some rumors that Talton may be leaving as well to open up a couple.
I don't need bangers. Just give me one more guy in the 6'8" to 6'10" range who is athletic and can make us a little bigger overall. We're not a big team, but I think our biggest problem is a lack of overall explosiveness. I'm thinking the only reason that Boyle is playing Talton and Staler this year is because he realizes he made a mistake offering them and is pushing them through the system. I do like what Stalzer could be for us though. It's crazy to think what our bench will be next year compared to this year. Hopefully Tunks, Mills, and Adams will just move on after graduation. I think Talton needs to move to a mid-major conference. Bench this year: Johnson/Chen, Adams, Tunks, Stalzer, Talton (only a couple worth the minutes) Bench next year: Gordon, Jenkins, Hopkins, Thomas, Fletcher, Stalzer, Talton (Tunks and Adams could still be here too) Hard not to get excited with that bench next year with Spencer, Ski, XJ, Andre and Scott (hopefully around 240 with a little more explosiveness) starting.
Disagree immensely with the bold. I don't know about Talton but I remember seeing a quote from Boyle on Staltzer that basically said Tad asked himself everytime he was at Mater Dei watching XJ why he wasn't recruiting Eli as well. Staltzer will be like Tomlinson in a couple years, which is not a bad thing at all. Talton, I think he may be on his way out anyway but he has shown flashes but not enough, he should have redshirted. We need a banger down low like Oregon and ASU have, badly. But, yeah the rotations are going to be sick next season. Starters: Dinwiddie Booker Dre XJ Scott Bench: Fletcher Jenkins Gordon Hopkins That would have to be one of, if not the top nine man rotation in the conference, especially if we can add a JUCO big man. Oh, and XJ needs to start every game from here on out.
Yeah, this dance has lasted long enough. At a certain point, we just have to shut this thing down. That Crabbe kid is pretty darn good.
I would like to see the SR footage of Adkins but it's not a horrible addition. i mean lindsey was 5'7". fuck, i'm so tired of midgets.
pretty happy that we finished with Awuzie and Thompson. At very least Thompson has long ass dreads and those are always a good thing.
lol, Hi haters (I realize 94% of the class was Embree's but still, Awuzie, Thompson and Adkins are all solid additions. Severson's physical attributes are really good.)
what is an XJ? is that anything like a ZJ but cheaper and not is good, like CU athletics? that is a you guys suck joke.
Allbuffs @Allbuffs Colorado and Nebraska have agreed to renew their football rivalry with games in Boulder in 2019 and 2023 and Lincoln in 2018 and 2024.
Also we need some god damn shooters. Hopkins sounds like a slasher with limited outside game at this point, but Fletcher and Thomas should be able to stretch the floor a bit more. I just want one more fucking outside shooter.
that one cancels out the utah loss. Back on track if we just win at home and steal one or two more on the road.
