Townsend is very good but isn't a great shooter and pretty undersized for a 4. MSU def needs a floor spacer so probably a win for all parties w/ Townsend going elsewhere, assuming Izzo can get a Center.
To add to this, freak athlete in terms of size/strength with explosiveness. He is still a better athlete than basketball player in terms of developed skills but that’s common for the size. He is an in the paint guy with no range but can be very effective there. His shot doesn’t actually look bad so it may develop. He had back issues or his minutes would have been higher.
Not sure any of this really matters any more considering people just challenge it in court and the rules get pushed aside.
Would have been nice to have that in place last year when we lost Cam Spencer and our PG in June after getting big NIL offers with nobody out there to replace them

Pryor can play. He’s a good example of JuCo guys slipping through the cracks in the portal era; a bunch of P5s passed and he fell into USF’s lap.
All these teams filling up their rosters with these portal players. Gonna look like suckers when we have our choice of all the players that are left in the portal a week before the fall semester starts.

We have two scholarship players and one walk-on on our roster right now that should change in a good way today though
