If anything, it shows you just how awful the new FO/Hue think the WR group is. A couple of these guys have to hit
The Princeton guy DeValve is listed as a WR but is more like a TE - 6'4" 245. He also missed nearly the whole 2014 season and most of the 2015 season with foot injuries that required season ending surgery. Every new front office gets the benefit of the doubt, but seems like an odd pick.
It's just buying a bunch of lottery tickets, so I guess I'm fine with it, since they just picked random players at needs. At least it's not like Ray who staunchly refused to address team needs in drafts, so while we won't know for a couple years, it seems like an improvement.
What's the knock with Scooby? Size, athleticism, injury? Every time I saw him he was making plays all over so expected him to go a lot earlier.
I like the idea of drafting guys that produced. Not everything is about how sexy your combine was. How did you do in games? Interested to see how this year plays out and what happens with next year's draft.
Agreed. The past few regimes seemed to ignore production and focus on how fast the guy was or how he looked in shorts running drills. Reading through the breakdown of these guys, the role analytics played is pretty obvious.
I wondered the same thing. I get him not going the first or even second day but the kid has shown he can be a pretty damn good football player. Really hope he and JoeScho work out.
i'm just happy we had 14 picks. i mean, we have to hit on some of those, right? only pick i didn't really like was kessler, but i don't think that'll matter too much. can't see us passing on QBoF next year if we're in position because of a late third rounder
I'm not crazy about the Ogbah pick either. I do like Shon Coleman though, he played well against Alabama and Ole Piss
Even though I hate where they picked him, I think he's a smart, team first kind of guy. Most teams don't make it through the season with one QB nowadays, so why not take a guy who has the mentality where he can learn the offense, be an asset when they draft a QB high, and can play when he's needed. And if he develops into a starter for the Browns or they're able to trade him for a pick good for all parties. It would be very Browns luck though if no QB other than Watson emerges in next years class, I know he's not the tallest guy.
Can't wait for the season to start so it can be over and we can get back to Cavs, Indians, and Ohio State
Our QBs are also part-time Account Managers Austin Pavilack Account Executive at Cleveland Browns QB Josh McCown gets on a call with some fans and tells them his excitement for this season. He closed 4 Club seats! This guy can do it all, @Browns

Went to the "scrimmage" at the Shoe on Saturday and TP looked like a damn beast. Granted it was against our shitty DBs but he caught everything thrown his way, at least 6 or 7 passes. All hands catches with no bobbles, and looked comfortable running routes. Cautiously optimistic that he will be able to contribute this year.
Also Duke Johnson was motioning out of the backfield a lot into the slot and is going to catch a ton of passes against slow OLBs. He's like a good version of Gio Bernard.
I don't wanna hear it, Craig! The Cincinnati Harambe's are not going to have enough bodies to field a football team!
