Another solid ep. Battle lines are drawn. Gonna be a great final 2 eps, hopefully. And FTR, Kate Sacker could do anything she wants to me ...
I still don’t know wtf would make Prince such a terrible president. Seems like an easy story to tell that they’ve done a snotty job telling
And they are making the other characters hate him with an undeserved and unbridled passion. It's very awkward and unnatural. Still love the show, but they make it seem like Prince is an insane and cruel narcissist with very little evidence ...
He's supposed to be Trump 2.0 but he's never been built that way but here we are... Its not been a good show for some time now. They give us some small nuggets of the greatness but its largely garbage
lol so far the story line is that he’s never been in trouble and he and his wife has an open relationship.
and he's cool with starting nuclear winter and he's cool with allowing an american to be thrown in a chinese prison and he's cool with handing over a criminal son of a business partner for expedience and he's capable of forging business documents to send people to prison unless they under his control and he's fine with recording people's every interaction (including violating doctor-patient confidentiality) without their knowledge so that he can secretly use that info against them and he believes that people without any self doubt should have complete power the last one being the most important, but teamed with the first one...bad.
The problem is we have seen Ax, Chuck etc all do terrible things to advance themselves and Prince isn’t much worse than them. I think it would have been easy to differentiate him more; they have had plenty of time to really make him terrible. The show always seemed at its best or best potential with everyone working together so I am glad we are finally getting that, last 2 eps should be solid. And thank god we get ax back
If him saying he would be willing to start nuclear war and then in the same episode saying that people with no self doubt should have absolute power because they won’t hesitate doesn’t make anybody see him as an existential threat if he reaches the White House then idk. It isn’t just the “some bad stuff” it’s the nature of it all read together.
Could be. Says it drops on Sundays per imdb and wiki and gave the dates of the last 2 eps as 10/22 and 10/29. Guess I never checked earlier before ...
Glad to be able to watch it tonight. I think the finale is going to be a barn burner and I'm super pumped for it ...
It drops on Fridays. I’ve been watching Friday at 5:15 when I get home from work every week this season.
extremely cliche sitcom type ending, which I expected. fan service 101. nothing terribly interesting and spent half the episode putting bows on every little thing. and I was still a fanboy and here for it. just wish it ended with Wendy/Chuck BDSM the way the series cold opened. now that would have been fan service.
Agree with this. Thinking about all of the characters and how flawed they are, but one stands out as the biggest POS with his body of work over the course of the show and that is Chuck Rhoades, hiding behind the cloak of justice and the law. And I too, was rooting for a Chuck / Wendy return visit to the sex dungeon as the show drew to a close ...
The plot always came secondary to Koppelman trying to pop himself with dialogue full of sports and pop culture references.
Glad I stuck through it even though there were some very bad seasons. Love Homecoming by Josh Ritter being towards the end. Heard that song first on this show and been a favorite ever since. Show always had amazing music
