Almost the whole squad, but not a lot is cry over. Except Almada. We need a major shakeup. Hopefully Brad does the right thing and retires and we can find a good, young GK.
declined the option on Juanjo, no decision on Silva yet so hopefully that's a contract being ironed out
also the irony of wishing we'd move on from Rossetto for years only to end up genuinely missing him in the finale isn't lost on me
yeah that's what I'm assuming as well Fortune was pretty wasteful, Rossetto probably doesn't make the difference but he would've helped maintain possession Obviously I'm ecstatic we're moving on especially with his bloated contract, he at least became serviceable towards the end though
Rosetto would have had some nice backwards passes and contributed nothing defensively. He and Fortune are a wash no matter what dumb passes completion % stats our moronic media members throw out. Hes one of the worst CMs I’ve ever watched and I’ve watched A LOT over the years.
You're making more of my statement than it is. Rossetto clearly doesn't provide enough at any midfield position and he frustrated the hell out of me, but once Muyumba came in with his ability going forward Rossetto's relative safety on the ball, particularly in tight spaces, actually became somewhat meaningful and it would've helped having that against a team also clamoring for possession. I have no idea what his passing percentages are or what our moronic media members are throwing out about them
We did not miss him Sunday. He does nothing. “Safety” in our style of play is actually negative all he does is blow chances to break the press of teams and give us more chances to make those bad giveaways in our own half. Drop a real 6 next to Muyumba and watch us win everything next year.
I refuse to let anything positive about Rosetto be posted, nothing personal against you, very personal against this bum. Good riddance.
been radio silence on that Slisz guy lately but I assume we're still after a tam level 6 with Dax taking up what would've been a healthy Alonso's role
not sure about Pineda still but feels like we're finally cooking again with this build, got Doug saying the Slisz deal is almost done now too
Assuming the same quality of evaluation from Garth on these new guys, then the starting 11 looks nice but we are fucked if certain guys get injured.
McKay being over Garth reminds me of why I quit my hospital job. Worked under a VP I knew I was smarter than that was constantly sending me bullshit busy work. His secretary finally pulled me aside and said don't do any of it he isn't going to read it. A year after I quit they finally realized he was clueless and ruining several of his depts. He started in HR and had a lot of dirt on some people in the org that also got let go when he did. I imagine this is exactly what McKay is like.
interesting that Derrick Williams (pick up in the re-entry draft from DC) has been consistently starting in these friendlies over Abram
Game day baby. Man I’m in a good mood knowing that I won’t have to watch Rosetto kill our attacks today.
