“Older” George Michael is still a mindfuck to me. Enjoying Season 5 though, I skipped Season 4 entirely so it’s great to have the show back
Damn it, I'm in the middle of a rewatch of Chuck and Justified plus just started GOT. Now I need to start a rewatch of AD too (and Happy Endings for good measure).
honestly don't really remember the last season (half season). I'll have to rewatch. I do remember it being much better than the previous one where no one was together.
I only watched two or three of them. Need to rewatch it. Kinda bummed at my lack of excitement now compared to when season 4 first dropped.
I liked 5B. Much better than the first half of the season. Spoiler final episode definitely felt like a series finale.
It wasn't awful but it also wasn't fantastic. Could have gone without the fake James Lipton scene in the court room, way to much forcing CGI and dub over.
Glad to have it back, but the original appeal of S1-3 was the stupid shit they did between themselves. Trying to add in outside plotlines killed 4/5. The “Murphy Brown” bullshit with Tobias made me want to murder all of them.
decided to finally binge this after having only seen a handful of episodes way back in the day, at 20 minutes a pop these are like crack right now also apparently I've been pronouncing Funke wrong in my head for years, Tobias why didn't you ever tell me I feel like such an ass
2nd post of 2022 and it's within 4 minutes of a mr f post without being tagged. We needed a moment like this as a country.
Just watched Meet The Veals for the first time in a long time. I forgot how great it is. Mrs Featherbottom jumping from the second floor with an umbrella kills me every time.
So have they sold the rights for seasons four and five back to Fox for some sort of collection? Or are they unable to show four and five all together without the rights to the first three seasons? Either way, I'm very confused as to how they can't stream their own content unless they've sold it.
This happened to westworld too. Time to start buying physical copies (which was always the way to go) of your favorite shows and movies
There was a good interview with HBO's CEO talking about removing content from libraries. His argument was that they weren't ever supposed to be there in perpetuity and it's unrealistic to have access to a neverending library for $15 a month. He referenced the syndication model and a shift back to that approach with the freevee type channels.
This is why we pirate. I still pay for several services, but I also have hundreds of hours (if not more) running off a private server and available through Plex.
