Ahsoka (starts August 23 on D+)

the series is called ahsoka but you could probably as easily called it rebels season 5. obviously they’d never do that and completely connect a cartoon series with live action but imo it more or less was

 

Needed more Zeb.

 

Zeb probably way too expensive to do more than for a few seconds.

 

One of the best parts of the show before they changed galaxies was Dark Bay and Bae. I feel like they got about 3.5 minutes of speaking time the rest of the way.

I know it’s Star Wars so the fan base can’t help itself but the way people want to make a villain out of Filoni is so bizarre to me. I don’t think he’s perfect by any means but of all the people creating content lately is he really the one you want to hate.

 

Absolutely not. He's not perfect and he still has a lot of room for improvement, especially as a director, but if I had to pick one person to oversee Star Wars, ala Fiege and the MCU, he's the guy.

As much as I like TFA, and love TLJ, if I could, I'd happily wipe the entire sequel trilogy out and just let Filoni continue his post ROTJ world building, without having to retroactively tie it in to Ep7-9

 

I was thinking about this the other day. A lot of the TV shows just seem to lack big dramatic moments with a lot of tension.

 

Filoni+favreau is the combo punch we need

Between Morgan’s “for Dathomir” and the 3 mothers giving Thrawn the side eye. I think we have some civil conflict between Thrawn and the Witches.

 

Legit the worst part of Ep 8 was the Dark Troopers standing around while Ahsoka and Morgan fought when they could of blasted her assS.

 

That is true. It was some of the other episodes that were pretty lacking in the visual department.

My problem is that he knows Sabine and Ezra are accompanying Ahsoka. Why would he only care about stopping juuuust Ahsoka? Morgan is enough to slow Ahsoka but Morgan lets the other two past her with no resistance. Sabine is only left behind as well because of backing up her master. But Ezra is going to complicate things in the home galaxy and I don't think this is an outcome Thrawn can claim as full victory.

 

I miss early Game of Thrones seasons

Eventually Filoni will direct an Avengers like “Mando-verse” movie. I think most assume they’ll do a couple more Disney+ show seasons before they do that though.

 

Now she destroys their plane and comes back all cocky, this is painful
