Didn’t watch last night as I’m just not going to pay for 12 PPV’s a year, but sounds like it was a good one.
Took my son to a hockey game last night, but sounds like there is a couple matches I need to go back and watch
The setup for the closest segment was chef’s kiss. Everyone from the camera work, the directing, the wrestler’s performance, the fans, etc.
It’s amazing they somehow managed to overdeliver for me because my expectations were insanely high, perhaps unreasonably and unfairly high.
even after seeing some of the clips itt and having a vague idea of the closing flurry it still fully grabbed me, which is really hard to do nowadays
can't believe that upload hasn't been taken down yet btw, kept checking the progress bar expecting it to get nuked while I was watching
if Rhea's out for a while they gotta let that story simmer and have her seduce Dom bit by bit until Rhea's ready to come back. If she's out 4+ months I'm not sure Liv is the one to carry that division. Plus they haven't hammered home the Liv heel turn yet, she came out slapping hands. If she cheats to beat Becky or puts Becky on the shelf too (if its true Becky is taking time off) then that would help there. this felt like when they had to call Moxley back to win the title again when Punk got hurt
Just paying homage to an all time great promo that's up there with Hard Times and Cream of the Crop imo. Brian Cage with the same awareness of Michael Scott.
Becky's done an amazing job of elevating talent from NXT to the main roster. I'm sure she will go on a similar path till she eventually drops the title to someone they can build up or a returning Charlotte/Rhea. I love the idea of Liv getting revenge by stealing Dom from Mami... talk about a great way to keep Dom Heel, give Liv heat and a returing Mami was going to be ultra over as a babyface anyways.
I don’t think this will make much of a difference. Wrestlers could always break the 90 day non-compete so long as they were willing to forego payment from WWE for those 90 days.
Whether it goes into effect or not l, don’t think it has an impact except for executives and non-wrestling personnel.
A lot of good on RAW last night. Ludwig and Gunther turn on Vinci was fantastic. Got to think it’s going to be the storyline that they bring Ilja in on. Vinci lacks all the charisma. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him released soon.
I hate to say this as someone who has always really liked her in ring work but Mercedes is bad at character work and this song and dance is peak cringe. Someone needs to put the training wheels back on immediately. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLmBvgDg/ Who told her this was a good idea?
Saw a Tik Tok earlier and it was just Becky’s face posted on a bunch of pics of Hulk Hogan…was wondering what the fuck that was about
The next NXT PLE being at the UFC Apex is such a terrible decision from an atmosphere standpoint. The Apex will make the PC sound like a Raw after Mania.
They just broke an NXT attendance record… then they make this move. It’s really awful decision making. Type of stuff that fuels negative narratives about the brand.
Diva stans are the craziest fans by far in all of wrestling and they have no idea how the business works. They think titles are like participation trophies where everybody gets a turn if they stick around long enough. Becky went down to NXT, boosted their ratings to the highest in years (they immediately went back down after she left), gave Tiffany Stratton the biggest match of her career and then put over Lyra Valkyre clean and totally made her career. She's one of the most selfless main event stars in the entire industry.
