I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I’ve watched a movie that I haven’t seen before

Apollo’s death did have me rewatch Rocky though it took 3-4 nights

 

I actually thought about this the other day and plan on watching it when it comes on peacock

 

1) Have to imagine it’s tough to beat out Gee Scott and Josh Fryar on offense. I like the Howard answer. Howard, Egbuka, Sawyer, Simon

2) Do The Right Thing. Had never seen it before. Was crazy seeing Giancarlo Esposito in that role after knowing him as Gus Fring.

3) KC. Not sure what all my brother has going but I know he was doing some fresh bread and a cheese plate. Some ribs with Arthur Bryant’s rub and I’m picking up Arthur Bryant’s sauce tomorrow. It’s kept in stock at a hardware store in Upper Arlington oddly. I’m also bringing a fresh strawberry cake from a Japanese bakery. SF has a big Japantown, TSwift flew back from Japan, it makes sense.

4) Burke

 

Oppenheimer was great, my dad getting lost for 3 hours on a bus in Vancouver while I watched with brother and BIL wasn’t

4. Can say Denzel Burke without hesitation. He's in a little bit of a rough spot because Will Johnson and Travis Hunter are in the draft class but he's the best NFL prospect coming out next year.

3. Chiefs by 7, making jalapeño poppers and smoking some queso. Have a few friends coming by but nothing huge.

The most recent movie that I've seen on this list is Nomadland. Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri was also a great movie.

Top Gun Maverick is the only one from the 2020’s

I haven't seen either Top Gun. My friends wedding had some sort of Top Gun themed "here comes the bride" and nobody noticed. Me and another groomsman also completely fucked up the floor runner or whatever it's called

Interviewing for a new job so I've been off the grass for a few weeks. Don't really drink unless I'm out. I was a mess last Saturday

 

Had that job one time as an usher. My other buddy that was with me on the job had done it once previously. He pleaded with them not to go with it because it’s always a disaster. Sure shit it was a mess as we didn’t have room in the aisle for us to be even and run it down. Then it got to the end and starting rolling back up….

 

Ours got tangled up in the rope and was ripped from about 40% point down the aisle. We got to about 80% and just ripped it

I've watched so many movies but haven't finished either Top Gun. Not sure why, maybe I don't care about the subject that much. Maybe I'm a cunt

 

I’ve said it a million times here but maverick is one of the greatest movies ever made.

not even exaggerating. I went into the theater thinking it was going to suck and left wondering if it was the best theater experience id ever had.

for my money it’s one of the best action movies ever made, up there with the matrix and fury road. Definitely go watch it. The first one isn’t bad, a solid 80s flick, and must be watched first to appreciate the sequel fully.

3. I think it’s going to be the 49ers. The plan is to go to our friends place for a get together. He’s smoking ribs and wings, by other buddy if bringing 2-3 different soups. My family has been passing around a bug since we got back from Florida , so not sure how many of us are going. Middle boy is just getting over it, oldest is in the middle of it, and I feel like the youngest is getting it. I’ve felt like crap for the last two days as well.

Kind of curious, those who were students at OSU, did you buy basketball season tickets?

I bought football every year, but never bought basketball. The schedule was too random and I made too much money waiting tables post game. A 12:00 football game was easy to swing a 5:00 dinner shift, but random Tuesday/Thursday and odd weekend times were impossible.

The basketball team also was horrific most of my time except the Jim Jackson years I caught.
