belotti had a 66% winning percentage and won the pac twice in 14 years, finished top 10 nationally twice. chip kelly took over and finished with an 87% winning percentage, won the pac all 4 years he was there and finished top 10 all 4 years
I watched more UCLA tonight than I have in a long time. I think there's a lot to be excited about but Day is going to have to manage the amount of QB runs we do. Chip had his QB's run about 11x a game last year and even more the year before and that's too much. Not all were designed but still too much with a possible 17 game season. My argument over the last few years has been we need 3-5 per game to keep the defense honest. I think you can forget about Josh Fryar playing tackle for Kelly, if at all. I didn't specifically watch their linemen but they almost seem to move well and Fryar has stiffer hips and knees than Herb's great grandpa.
Elite sports weekend Big time soccer Waste Management Basketball all day Super Bowl First weekend with no plans in what seems like 3 months
it's objectively funny watching this team lose track of the opposing team's leading scorer on the perimeter over and over and over
I'm full of faith that Holtmann is going to pull out a win. Tied game with a minute to go? Please put Bonner in.
Not sure if OSU had a TO left at the end there, seems like it would’ve helped to set up a play to win. Both Battle and Gayle have been pretty bad today and didn’t need a 3 there even if Battle had a clean look
I seriously was expecting him to brick that and it somehow bounce to a Maryland 3 on the other end ;)
Lol I fully expected Gayle to clank that windmill and the ball bounced out far enough for them to get a shot off
He's still extremely likable even tho they suck. He always plays hard and gives full effort. If he transfers, I hope it's to a great spot that will get him playing meaningful games/tournament.
Check out NET ranking, shocked to see that at 13-10 prior to todays win, we’re still 71. Thought that would be much worse.
the Drew family are college basketball royalty, bring him them back to Midwest (Scott is dirty as hell and would thrive with OSU NIL)
Once revenue sharing starts, seems like the Indiana/Illinois/maybe even Rutgers types are really gonna thrive in basketball Got the conference money plus they know they’ll never really compete in football and overall athletic department kinda sucks, why not go all in on basketball
How are they taking athletic funds and using this to secure better players? Wire Fraud? Indiana and Illinois are historic top 15 basketball programs btw
just assumed departments are going to potentially pay athletes whatever they want Much higher % of funds going to basketball
If athletic departments are paying players directly there will be some sort of salary cap across all sports maybe that salary cap allows you to move football money to other teams which would support the IU/Rutgers/Illini theory but lord knows the big schools want to win in everything so I doubt they will let that fly
Unless the B1G and SEC break off, that's a pretty big assumption that many schools will be to be capable of agreeing on a salary cap system
I think under this situation neither conference exists and only 25-40 schools compete- it’s where we are headed and it sucks
Since hotmic is a lazy slut and I currently have about 14 brain cells left tonight 1. I think we’ll potentially have more but name the 4 most likely captains next year 2. Best movie you’ve seen recently(nobody buys duke saying he doesn’t watch movies) 3. Winner and food plans for the SB 4. Who is our top draft pick next year?
Trey, Egbuka, Jack, JT. Denzel and Ransom close on D, Howard on O if he claims job early Equalizer 3 was decent, my ADD is currently bad. I can’t sit through shit 49ers, no food plans yet. Likely some overpriced doordash/grubhub Jack bless up
1. Jack, Howard, Egbuka, Lathan 2. I watched 2001 for the first time a few weeks ago 3. SF, going to the friend's house we go to every year. Everyone brings something, I think the hosts are smoking pork. I'm bringing Pepperoni rolls 4. Tyliek
1. Tough to name 4 - Trey, Emeka, JTT, and Jack - most likely six with Ransom and Burke as well. 2. I have seen mess movies than Duke in the last 10 years. I couldn’t name a movie released in the last two years that I’ve seen. I suppose a Disney movie maybe but I did watch the Goonies with the kids last weekend. 3. Cheering for the Niners but I don’t see them beating the Chiefs. Staying home and making food here. I’ll smoke some wings and have some dips. Probably a year or so away from big Super Bowl parties again given the kids and friends’ kids ages. 4. Ryan Day turns Will Howard into a first round QB
