I still can't get over how fucking bad Zen Michalski was in the Spring Game. It looked like me out there trying to block our DL

 

There are a couple of young guys I want to see play more—Styles, Hicks, but he’s at the top of the list with them.

 

There are a couple players I'm willing to give another chance to but if they fuck up I'd be okay never having them play defense for OSU again. The big two are Josh Proctor and Cam Martinez. I think they'll both be better but Proctor is too inconsistent and Martinez is the definition of hyped up by the beat but I can't think of a single big play he's made in three years and he got fucking torched against UM last year.

The depth at some of these positions was terrifying if they don’t hit on guys this year - specifically OL, DE and SAF.

 

I’m of the view that it’s way too early to be terrified about 2024 depth.

At OT, even if Fryar leaves as you project, we still have three starter caliber OTs in Simmons, Montgomery and Fitzpatrick. Miles Walker also came into Spring looking very good for a true freshman.

We have to hit DEs. We missed 2023 badly.

 

Well, those lists made it all of 30 minutes without being obsolete. Doesn’t look like Zen or Fitzpatrick are even in the conversation at tackle.

There is no reason bums like Proctor and Martinez should be playing ahead of this stallion.

 

Landis and Lesmerise (spelling?) were hinting that Montgomery has an outside chance to start by the middle of this year.

My HOT TAKE is that he takes over as one of the Tackles by the end of this year and holds it down for 3 years.

 

Arrows are nice, nice arrows.

 

Put him on the All Uniform team ruggt now

 

This only solidifies my belief that he starts at CB opposite Burke.

 

I really want to snag JSN in my dynasty draft if he’s there at 1.4 but I’m also conflicted because I kinda wanna suck again for Harrison.
