I thought it was something in the Trump thread where after a particularly asinine post he said, paraphrasing, 'Are you fucking kidding me with this shit? Fuck it, whatever, I'm out.' Again, I might be mistaken.
I really depends on where the party lines shake out. If the GOP decides to stay far right, then my hope is the DNC would edge more centrist away from the far left. As someone who was left in the middle, I voted for the moderate Republican in the race: Hildawg. BO would be a Republican 40 years ago. I wish both parties would come back to the center. The DNC needs to make a decision on strategy, who their core will be, and what values to stand for. The GOP has made their decision and its a demographics gamble in the future.
I told oops Once to stay away from those race. The ignorance and outright racism will just piss you off
Never underestimate your ability to get people to change sides. Just ask Iron Mickey and some of the other long time left posters that I had heated arguments on here with a few years ago.
The two most important things for D's between now and 2018 are to keep Latinos engaged and win back the union vote in the Rust Belt. From 2000-2012, there were 40 states that voted the same in all four elections. Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, and Florida all flipped in those cycles. If Arizona starts to trend blue and those states develop a more reliable Latino base, we're talking 31 electoral among the western states and 29 more in Florida. Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania went blue in every election since 1988 until 2016. He won Michigan by 12,000 votes, PA by 68,000, and WI by 27,000. That's 107,000 total votes for 46 electoral. Hillary Clinton is president right now with a 278-260 win with 107,000 more votes in those three states.
So I guess I missed the discussion of everyone's end of the world plans for when Trump gets us nuked. I plan on driving up to meet Iron Mickey , getting drunk and talking him into going out and shooting fascists with me until we die due to nuclear fallout.
Guyz, on the last page I said to punch Nazis. Milo isn't a nazi. He's a troll. I said to ignore Milo. He doesn't actually give a shit about anything he says unlike white nationalists. He just enjoys getting under people's skin. Punch Richard Spencer all you want.
It's my strawman red herring and I would appreciate it if you would not call me out on it, thank you. But seriously it's just my pet peeve to hear people like Dylan Roof and Richard Spencer referred to as white nationalist instead of calling them out for what the are racists/white supremacist.
That's nonsense they're white and therefore lone wolf with untreated mental health issues, to be upset at them is like being mad at a cancer patient for being sick.
I've heard "they're not white supremacists they're white nationalists" multiple times as if there's a difference and nuance should be reserved for it.
Its possible to read those users posts, laugh, and not respond to them. I know for a fact at least one of them spends a lot of his time on /r/The_Donald ... you can't take anyone from there seriously
I know quoting myself lame, but this concept of white nationalist not white supremacist is so asinine. So they want separate but equal white and POC states then?
Do you think that a salient point could be made about Nazi semantics, or that I would take mental notes of them?
So long as you don't veer too far left, hope you don't mind me tagging along. Enjoy your twitter as well.
I do find that pretty funny. Merica is a good dude but damn he feeds the trolls almost as much as Mister Me Too does.
No I didn't but I'm interested in how what I assumed to be "regular people" were rationalizing that there was any difference
Lmao farva voted for a nazi uprising because of the ghost of the thought of gun access changing slightly
