Just gave Fuku another shot. Was meh - Chick Fil A is better. Don't really like any of Chang's spots.
You end up getting any BA Double Neg? My local spot (Campbell Cheese on Lorimer) had a bunch of bottles last night. If you didn't end up getting any would be worth stopping in on the way to our place!
I'll check it out on my way. Every place in Manhattan got ravaged. No Tess or Double Neg for this fellow (yet!)
Malt and Mold Gramercy has Hill Farmstead Works of Love #1, Grimm Tesseract, and Grimm Double Negative on tap right now. Currently only for consumption on site.
KJROD20 and I are going to a show on Friday night off 7th Ave in the West Village. Living in the East Village for years neither of us really know anything about the West Village. Where should we eat?
Bar Sardine for the Fedora Burger. Blind Tiger is an awesome bar with great beer and food. Always go grilled cheese and tomato soup. Jefferys Grocery for oysters and raw bar.
Def on the list! Along with a few others I found reading back in this thread (La Loteria, Swine, 100 Acres). Also, inb4 Decoy. Latest res they have is 630pm, bit early.
Bar Sardine sounds pretty good too. We tend to avoid Blind Tiger since it's usually a shitshow but it's super close to the theater so it might have to be a stop.
I've only been to Blind Tiger for lunch to duck out of the cold. Love the atmosphere and fire place. A Friday night reservation at Decoy is available, you say? :jew:
Hundred Acres is more of a brunch place IMO (actually one of my favorite spots). Tartine is BYOB. Everyone in this thread should download Immaculate Infatuation for their restaurant needs.
Hey bros. heading to grand central. Currently on the metro north train. Where should I eat? Had momofuku and meatball shop earlier this week. Party of 1.
So jealous. This kills me: George: There’s a funny story about this drink. I was having lunch with Dick Van Patten and I turned to Dick at one point and I said, “Dick, there’s too much tuna in your tunatini, but my martuna needs more tuna, ” and we laughed over it. Gil: And I then submitted that to the Talk Of The Town in New Yorker Magazine. George: And they canceled our subscriptions.
They apparently Too Much Tuna a different celebrity each night. Aziz and Seth Meyers have already been. Excited to see who we get.
So I'm at Westside Market on 14th and 7th doing some normal grocery shopping when I spot some Goose Island on their counter. They have regular, coffee, barleywine, and rye. Couldn't believe it was still around. Check it out if you're still interested in grabbing some variants.

I had a burrito from the Calexico cart yesterday. Crack sauce didn't do anything for me. Taqueria Diana and Tacos Morelos are the best, I think.
Calexico is not "authentic" or anything but it'll hit the spot. I'm fine with crack sauce but I'm a salsa verde guy through and through.
I've been meaning to go there forever, but every time I call it's "sorry, the wait is about a hour and forty five minutes."
That reminds me, we ended up at Jane for dinner that night and loved it. Food was awesome, service too.
Love Diana but had a bad Seamless burrito from Morelos and haven't ordered since. El Diabolito Taquerio is also a fine contender.
One more because I love thailand #Airfare Deal: [UA] Newark - Phuket, Thailand. $776 r/t. Details: https://t.co/jpRro1VW18 #travel
NYC bros, please help me plan a weekend in your fine city. Visiting in late March and the trip revolves around seeing Hamilton on Saturday night. I still need a hotel (preferably within walking distance to Central Park) and some good dinner reservations. Looking for something nice but not too stuffy for both.
Bunch of good recommendations in this thread: http://the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/itt-nyc-bros-talk-about-how-great-nyc-is-and-how-great-they-are-for-living-there.84639/
I'm a bagel sandwich type of guy. Normal bagels have too much stuff going on with them. Now: ^that's me
