Since this is the resident word game thread, a little brag. I play the Washington Post daily crossword and I always try to solve it only using horizontal clues first. I’ve managed to do Monday and Tuesday a few times over the years, and Wednesday once.

Today I did the Thursday puzzle without looking at vertical clues.

 

I do the mini everyday on NYT. I guess I'm old now doing crossword puzzles like my dad

 

They ask me if I can play this shit back to back

 

Sometimes it's not about the one you get, but the one that knocks everything into place.
