Even Topps would give dealers boxes with good hits in them. No reason why fanatics wouldn't do the same.
I hit one of these today. Not numbered https://ripped.topps.com/2024-bowman-baseball-1955-bowman-anime-set/
Anyone send in a redemption and a year later they say inventory is depleted ? Apparently I’m being sent cards of the same sale value based on 5 players I selected But honestly one of the cards doesn’t have a true value since it has not been sold anywhere yet the only comp I see is being listed at 800 on eBay Feel like I’m gonna get fucked
So uh 5 blasters For blackfish and others who can't see my photos. Dylan Crews purple paper auto /250
So, that breaker ripped 25 out of 40 blasters from a case. 8 autos 1 gold /50 spotlight. Supposedly 1:17500ish 1/1 printing plate.
And even though they seem to be solid this year, I just still struggle to spend 30-35 on a blaster I fear my hobby interest is waning some.
Speaking from experience, Upper Deck >>>>>>> Topps and Panini when it comes to replacements for unfulfilled redemptions. It has been some years since it happened but I had some 2012-14 UD SPA redemptions that didn't get filled (Le'Veon Bell, OBJ were the notables) and they sent me 2 quality Tony Gonzalez autos and a Bo Jackson Exquisite Auto /5 as replacements. I was floored.
buy singles and PC what you love, it's always been the way acc to most of the soberheads on the hobby
For sure. Ripping packs is why I got into the hobby to begin with, though. It’s just tough to move on from it.
Some dummy is trying to scam my brother on ebay. But he's too dumb to know the difference between a Hobby Box and a Blaster lmao. Kinda hard to see but the picture the guy attached on the Case is of a smashed Blaster.
Anyone ever remove a paint signature from a helmet or know if it's possible? Those black replica helmets are sold out everywhere it seems. They were released a few years back so there are a ton of Okudah, Hockenson and Swift ones that are selling kind of cheap, basically price of non auto one. So I either buy one of them and clean the auto off, buy an authentic helmet for like $150 more or I just get it out of my head and buy a different helmet or a jersey
I have 8 blasters being delivered on Sunday so I guess we'll see. I opened 2 I ordered from Amazon (Fanatics) and didn't get any autos or color outside the guaranteed lunar glows. They've always been great value.
Not sure about consensus but some combo of Crews + Brock Wilkin, Cooper Pratt, Walker Jenkins, George Lombard, Aiden Miller and Arjun Nimmala.
Prospects Live does a real good job of breaking it down by team and tier with each Bowman release. https://www.prospectslive.com/
I have joined 2 Braves breaks and the 1st I wasn't able to watch. So it was a surprise mail day from me and I now have 2 Acuna 1955 Anime cards.
Jenkins and Miller are the two I was looking out for after Crews. Fun fact about Aidan Miller. He's played 40 games in the minors so far. 4 @ DH, 36 @ SS. Bowman has him listed as a 3B.
Through 4 blasters; 1 green Chrome first auto /99, Chrome refactor first /499 (didn't think they were retail), paper sky blue first /499, paper blue prospect /150.
Went to meijer to look for bowman and blasters were 40.... bought a prizm basketball mega for 60 instead and pulled a silver wembanyama insert.
looking through my psa sub pile this weekend. closer inspection of my Cade Cunningham Elephant Courtside Rookie revealed a huge ass print line running the width of the card. :sadtrombone:
Stasik won’t give away his secrets, but said he and his wife took Upper Deck North Carolina cards that had Jordan stickers on them and, without using any extra adhesive, transferred them to Jordan rookies. He then submitted one to Beckett, and it was graded. The Stasiks then made 14 more. Mike said at the time he was doing this, he did it in secrecy so as not to drive the cost of the Jordan stickers up. He said he paid roughly $2,000 per sticker. Today, it would be difficult to get one for double that. And that’s why his arbitrage works. A Beckett graded 6.5 Jordan Fleer rookie card is worth around $4,000. Assuming he bought the sticker for $2,000, and the card sells for $12,000, he has doubled his money. What the Stasiks have done has polarized collectors.
Opened up the next 4 Bowman blasters and only for a Chrome prospect /199 and a paper first /99, both in the same box.
