This was nearly dead on. Wrong So Wrong QB, RB, TE, OL, DL, LB Bama was better at K, P, Punt Returner, and WR This was a pretty accurate concern You can say that again No Also No Yup Yes they were.
The funniest thing about this outcome is that the Alabama football brain trust, who invented football because their team has traditionally had the best coach / facilities / players / largest staff / easiest academics etc, weren't able to observe that their team just wasn't very good and shouldn't have ever been in the CFP discussion.
I love how losing in OT to the #1 team suddenly makes us not very good. Is Michigan also not very good and not deserving of being there? Never change TMB.
I think the assumption is our mistakes were completely out of character, while your issues were indicative of the team you rolled out there all year.
I'm certainly not going to blame anyone for dunking on the few of our posters who decided to come in here and act like we were the '72 Dolphins after beating UGA.
What time is it when your wife comes out of the kitchen to yell at you? Time to shorten her chain! LAWL!
Phone went away before game, and just catching up on TMB. Finished reading 2500+ posts ITT, just an amazing performance by me. GG to the rational (and majority) portion of the Bama posters, sucks to lose like that. To the few condescending assholes who could not envision that any team from a lesser conference could be on the field with the mighty SEC, despite all the evidence this season provided that M was probably the deeper, more balanced team (y'all know who you are), my mature response is .
I think both teams played liked shit but touting milroe to be something he's not and him shitting his pants in the throwing game is objectively bad football
Got to admit it is pretty great when Bama and their spoiled ass fanbase loses in the playoffs despite all their #analysis that their team is clearly superior leading up to it and anyone that disagrees just doesn’t know ball like them
Both 28.3M Ohio State-Alabama 2014 (Sugar) 28.2M Florida State-Oregon 2014 (Rose) 27.2M Michigan-Alabama 2023 (Rose) 26.9M Georgia-Oklahoma 2017 (Rose) 22.5M Georgia-Ohio State 2022 (Peach) 21.7M Michigan-TCU 2022 (Fiesta)
Thought Bama was the better team. I was wrong. Michigan exposed every weakness in the team over and over again. Not witnessed Bama pushed around like that in a long time. Michigan doesn’t have a standout spectacular thing they do but every single thing they do is absolutely solid. Just a well rounded team. Congrats and don’t care if you win or lose against That team on the west coast.
I just Constant ‘d the entire thread while rewatching the game. You’re welcome for all the late likes good posters. Good game bammers. Gained a lot of respect for most of you the last few weeks. Will always hate y’all and Saban but, in a good way. The live line for OT was Bama -125 UM -110 before the coin flip. Can’t remember who asked and lost the quote somehow. dblplay1212 might remember.
Seems level-headed and a rational take. Sounds like their expectations have exceeded their appreciation for Coach Saban.
went on a date with a girl who wrote there and you will be unsurprised to hear they have almost no editorial review. It's slightly better than a blog
I bit and decided to look it up. Dude who wrote that is from Nashville, graduated from Western Kentucky in 2020, got his break into sports journalism by covering horse racing, and has been covering Alabama sports for 6 months. That online rag isn’t reflective of most Bama fans.
I am almost as old as you are I was just looking for a spot because I saw this nice set of chairs off 45%. I would cut in line for a small fee
