Doing yet another rewatch, the anticipation of the first episode of Season 2 is amazing when they're going in the hatch for the first time
Watching “The Variable” (faraday episode) right now. I absolutely loved season 5. Season 6, not quite as much, but season 5 might be my favorite on rewatch
Season 4 could have been so great if not for the writers strike. It was still really good, just interrupted and then rushed.
The one issue that still bothers me everytime I rewatch, in the 1st season Charlie says he can't swim. Season 3 he says he was a Junior Swim champ
“It always ends the sand. The vine. They fight. The corrupt” “It only ends once. Everything that is just progress”
Okay Im going a little nit picking here. The final scene with Charlie dying in Through the Looking Glass. Still not sure why he locked himself in that room, instead of getting out of it. Or why he doesn't swim through the window that Mikhail blew up.
I wish they would have done a Jin/Sun reunion way sooner. You get one episode of them seeing each other since the finale of Season 4 and then they get killed off
My lost rewatch podcast I had been listening to B for the last 18 months got to the finale tonight. About to drunk rewatch this
Storm podcast. They used to be a GOT pod, then switched to LOST. Really really enjoyed it over this past year and a half. Found it at the heart of the shutdown (sepinwall had been a guest and tweeted it out) and I’ve been a regular listener since.
That moment when John “wakes up” after surgery. Man. They lost the plot for more than a bit of this 6th season, but the off island stuff plays so well on a rewatch
Since this post Ive watched the first 2 seasons. First time doing a rewatch. Im loving it. Forgot about a lot of things
I’m gonna do a rewatch with the wife but I’m worried she will just get amped up at night and she’s a horrible sleeper. Probably worth.
Haha thanks. She’s never seen it. We already have two kids but if she cosplays Freckles 3 are in play.
So my girl did a rewatch of lost while at home with our baby. She just finished the final episode and the baby was literally sitting there frozen watching the church scene. Made us laugh. Wish I could post the video
Ignoring the heavy topics that book brings up, the explaination about Tally is great. He told me the writers room “was a predatory ecosystem with its own carnivorous megafauna.” Two years of what could be called the “Tallahassee mentality” was enough for him. The term comes from characters on the show poking fun at the Florida city. One day, the Lost offices got a letter from the mayor of Tallahassee, who gamely invited the show’s personnel to visit and enclosed brochures touting the city’s attractive qualities. “In response, Damon told the writers room to double down on Tallahassee, and when asked why, he replied with a straight face that the only thing funnier than punching someone in the face for no reason is punching them harder when they ask why,” Grillo-Marxuach said. “If you can imagine that as a management philosophy, you can understand what it was like to work on Lost.”
I’m doing yet another rewatch. Something caught my attention. Does anyone know why Penny was looking for the seismic magnetic anomaly? Obviously to find the the island but how did she Desmond ended up on it
