I'd add to the list a cicada landing on your shoulder unbeknownst to you then making that "shrieking" noise mere inches from your ear.
This is random, but I met the guy that set up the trail cam that caught this footage a few times. This was captured on Tejon Ranch in California, I used to volunteer with the conservancy there. The chances of catching footage like this on static trail cam are so small, this is basically winning the lottery. Everyone was very hyped when this happened, probably the craziest thing ever captured on the 270,000 acres of the ranch. Here you go, in all its traumatic glory. The mama pig comes back in the frame to fight the bear off near the end. Would just to like to say that wild pigs are a scourge on the environment, and need to be eradicated whenever possible. You wouldn't believe what a herd of wild pigs wallowing in a creek does to the local ecosystem. They fuck up the nutrient cycle, disrupt and contaminate waterways, and disturb the soil so much it allows invasive plant species to move in. California has strict hunting laws, so it's hard to actually take them out in meaningful numbers. Glad the bears are out there doing god's work.
Noticed this gata getting some sun yesterday. Didn’t realize until later that something ate his front foot.

I think it has to also deal with a human is a very very easy meal, so they become less afraid of humans and more likely to attack them. Not a scientist.
once they connect a thing with food it's likely to happen again. as the saying goes, a leopard can't change it's spots.
Also why there have been so many stories (I remember it being India or somewhere jungle-ish) about man-eating tigers. Like, dozens of kills.
