Boogie Fland and Billy Richmond visiting Arkansas tomorrow Tennessee transfer PF Jonas Aidoo visiting this weekend
All SEC PF in Aidoo should be a priority over Quaintance who is currently 16 years old and has an asking price of $1.5-$2 million. I think he ends up getting that FedEx money in Memphis. He looked very raw in the all star games, but that’s to be expected when he’s two years younger than everyone. We have to fill 14 roster spots. Really wanted Quaintance too but him ruling us out at the same time the Aidoo visit news is released isn’t a coincidence.
maybe I’ll make a roadtrip with Shawn Hunter so he can finally experience rupp (and more importantly BD)
So Ark has become UK 2.0….hopefully cal does something with all this talent this time. A fresh start might be what he needed
Think he’s going to cap it at 3-4 freshman and is getting heavy in the portal with experienced guys. We are hosting Jonas Aidoo, Johnell Davis, DJ Wagner and Brandon Garrison this weekend.
your jealousy is a bad look it will be like kentucky 2.0 only with better facilities, better fan support and a lot more $
I mean recruiting wasn’t an issue for muss and he actually knew how to coach so the regression in Fayetteville will be palpable, unfortunately
Some young men aren’t afraid to play in the conference of champions even if you throw a little cash at them.
He’s very difficult to work for and alienated a lot of donors by not catering to them and going to fundraising events, so NIL became a bit of a problem under him toward the end. He basically stopped recruiting in state guys altogether so coaches not getting any access or visits with their players. He always wanted to go back to the west coast so not upset and appreciative of all he did here. Was a fun ride, got to see a lot of the country I wouldn’t have gone to otherwise during March runs in lovely places like Buffalo and Des Moines!
His dad has been throwing around crazy NIL demands of $1.5-$2 million and Arkansas, Kentucky, Memphis and Louisville all cancelled visits and backed off. He’s 16 so has to be in college for two years, and I’m sure will have different demands next year.
