No we don’t dude. We won that amount of games with zero qbs and Arthur Smith, The NFC South is so bad we can easily when 10 plus games.
Legit serious post. With the asset allocation we have put to offense, if we don’t have a top 3 O in the nfl next year, it is a catastrophic failure. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone put this much toward skill players and not been the 07 Pats or the 2016 Falcons
It'll be really good this year but mostly likely next. Then Zac Robinson will get a head coaching job once a decision has to be made. Bookmark this post and throw it in my face.
To me, Dallas Turner is Vic Beasley coming out of college, only Vic rated out a bit better. I understand the need for a pass rusher, but I just don't think Turner is that guy. Glad the Falcons didn't pick him.
Dallas possesses an edge that Vic never had. I don’t doubt Dallas's passion for football, a facet we seemingly never discovered about Vic before the draft.
I mean I watched him twice against Oregon and the Semifinal against Texas where he was so fucking accurate, but I don't disagree that his receivers really helped. Fortunately we've got big receivers here now too because of our fascination with offensive skill players the past several drafts.
Will pitts and London even be on the team by the time he is at qb? We have totally wasted all of these players rookie contracts
So we swapped a 3rd for a 6th to move up 8 spots for a dude who likely would've been there anyways and maybe wasn't even the best on the board at his position. We got this down to a science
According to the talking heads on ESPN, not only did they not need to, they could have possibly used that pick to take him. But who knows.
Ok at least with penix I liked the player. I’ve never even heard of this guy, and he’s going to be a backup. What the fuck are we doing?
If the falcons miss the playoffs once in the next 5 years, I’m becoming a full time dolphins fan until Arthur blank dies
Sticking with the status quo and playing it safe is already hard enough in the NFL. Trying to prove you’re the smartest team in the room pick after pick draft after draft is a recipe for disaster.
